Im trying to steer clear of this thread... the prophecies of doom are totally depressing, it's like a big self-harm party for Brit Eurofans.

I'm trying to moderate myself this year. I got totally carried away with Molly last year and when she flopped I felt so down about it because I felt like we had a real chance.

You two are about the only exceptions to the rule ;)

You can be realistic without being downright depressing and pessimistic. I know some people want Electro Velvet to fail because they seem to have a personal grudge against 1) the UK 2) the BBC 3) EV/this kind of music.

Im optimistic and realistic. Id LOVE for us to win with this, I doubt we will send a song again that I love quite so much. But I know we're not going to. I think around 10th is a realistic chance given the type of songs that have come around that position in the past, but at the same time if we don't pick up points and do come 27th, so what? EV tried their best and Eurovision's all about the fun. There's nothing nice about coming 27th but someone has to... some people need to realise this before they carry on with their wrist-slitting.

Who was in charge of designing the stage show :?

This is the second year in a row the UK really bombed the staging and therefore destroying their chances before the final even started

What's wrong with it this year? Last year's staging was a disaster, but this year it looks brill so far...

Yeh whats wrong? I think it's a major step up from the staticness of last year. The only thing I would change is the vocals on those backing dancers.

I agree about the backing dancers singing, but that isnt any problem with the actual staging is it. I dont get GWTW's point on this, the staging, background and clothes look perfect and very fitting for the song...

Maybe it is just unfounded moaning again :rolleyes:
