As I love rock and metal, 'Time' made it for me. Also, I preferred them to Tayanna.

This nf is the one I'm waiting for the most, just cause of Verka and Jamala. The first one likes pop and being original while the 2nd one wants to see the singer's emotions in the song as well as the Ukraine in it. She said "Melovin it was 60% of what you can do. Work on that" in the sf, and he didn't. So she made sure he didn't win. She also didn't want the 3rd jury member puppet to win so she didn't rate Tayanna high to be fair. O.Torvald was the only reasonable choice to represent Ukraine in that moment (Illaria sucked and I don't remember the rest). I think she thought that giving them high score, she'd help them win 'just in case'. And she did. Clever girl I adore!

"Clever girl" and Ukraine ended with a flop position and one of their weakest entries to date, also not sure what type of "emotions" O. Torvald brought as they were very bland

I have nothing against good rock, but "Time" was amateur boyband acting as a "rock band", Ukraine has good rock acts, and maybe O.Torvald got better material, but "Time" was like if a budget local Backstreet Boys wanting to do something "rocky".

Tayanna was crap last year, so was Illaria... but knowing Illaria, her entry was nothing at all what she normally does and I think this year she'll be more genuine... also Tayanna is much better this year.

Verka doesn't like female artists and he doesn't seem to like "good Pop" either, seems he want those twinky boys doing boyband Pop...

My final judgement will be based on the NF performances, as always. Tayanna screwed her previous attempt live and I didn't like her "Lelya" vocals in the studio, I didn't like "Kvitka" live vocals as well. But she can change my opinion in the semi
I wanted to burn that entry with fire T() basing on snippets but the full song moved her into my top 5.

She's been performing "I Love You" like a queen last year. This is such a shame that she didn't manage to master her vocals in the grand final...

I saw the 1st public performance of that song, she had no sore throat and she couldn't deal with the culmination Semi-final performance wasn't good as well.
She managed to perform that song right (finally) only in March. I voted for her btw, while already knowing that she won't score well.

Been a while since I'd seen it. I remember being a bit disappointed with the performance back then, but watching it now, it was pretty gorgeous. What a shame she lost. And to O.Torvald of all acts. Ugh.

She will be the Voice co-judge of Potap. + she hinted that she will be the judge when Jamala gets heavily pregnant. And next season?

Watching it now, it still sucked. Her vocals weren't in her best conditions, the English version was awful, the person who did her makeup should be fired. She can do so much better than that. Thank god she didn't waste her talent on last year's participation. Hallelujah, thank you Jesus!

VILNA song is just awful. I listened to it several days. I tried to like it. And it gets even worse with each listen.

I don't get the hype. It's just bunch of all possible cliches and desperate attempt to sound modern, european and... genuine? Must be a joke! In fact this song screams amateur garbage. If this is what you want to be our representative then I better will root for Yulia Samoylova, at least she is more professional and sincere.

I just hope VILNA flops like overhyped Anastasia Prudius last year (with the same "modern" sounding btw). It's bright example when the song pretends to be the song but in reality it ISN'T. I don't want another year of shame for Ukraine.

I don't recall our media hyping Prudius last year I don't recall ANYONE hyping Prudius except some bunch of delusional fans.

The forest song is something that I usually really enjoy, but it doesn't do it for me completely... it feels a bit disjointed.

But maybe it will grow on me with the live performance

I literally have no idea what is going on in this NF season with Ukraine... but if you send that AMAZING girl Tayanna I will be SOOOOOOOO HAPPY!!!!!!!!!! So I hope she is in it! "I Love You" was amazing and should have won

It seems we have another entry released - this time from LAUD.

This song is even better than I expected from them. Really good one. But on ESC it will probably achieve the same fate as 2017 - and this is if we manage to put at least as good show as Cypriots did. It's modern, well produced and enjoyable enough - but still doesn't touch you. Looking forward for live performance.
