What makes me quite angry is that the budget is only 1/4 of what it was last year..

You mean compared to Azerbaijan? their budget was brutal IMO, and you have to keep in my mind that they had to build a whole new stadium.

I like it, and it will probably look better on tv! Denmark's got too many lights though.

well ... it seems there is very much light ... you can't see much of the background.
But anyway as I said before it's gonna look great on TV. :)

Last year they had to factor in the building of a new arena so this year the budget was always going to be a fraction of 2012. Also the budget needed scaling back as it was spiralling out of control and damaging the contest.

The light show seems to be too similar for each performance only in different colours....yawn.

after seeing your signature I even will not argue with you

Yeah and you are doing some kind of made up fantasy Eurovision contest that is really cool..

You are from Ukraine and thats why you think 2005 was the best, not many songs were good that year.

i mean 2005 was one of the best years by songs, and i don't care what stage was (it was so-so and the smaller)

Ahhh ok, sorry :L It wasn't bad, I thought last year or 2007 or this year were some of the best though

German stage is my favourite, especially Jedward used it so nice  I also like Finn and Russian stages. 2006 has criminally awful stage.

Just i can name more songs that I love from 2005 then from 2006 for example
and 2011 and 2012 for me also were great, 2005 2011 and 2012 were my favorite so far, and may be 2007 yet

Dussledorf nailed the stage/arena layout. The stage had a proper "important" feel to it but also the audience were right around it too so the atmosphere was fabulous.
Baku had an impressive stage but the atmosphere was so sterile as the audience seemed to be too far away from it.

Malmo stage is looking more like a good national final stage, rather than a proper epic eurovision one IMO.

2005 had '' Let Me Try '', '' Angel '' and '' My Number One '' while 2006 had '' Invincible '' , '' Hard Rock Hallelulejah '' , '' Tornero '' , '' Never Let You Go '' and '' Älvedansen ''

Please stop complaining, we were informed about that the technical arms race is over and that they wanted a smaller contest in 2013.
The stage in Dusseldorf was good accept the cut in the screen and that the audience was too far away from the stage and the Baku stage had to much lightning.

I don't get why people liked 2007. Horrible design, horrible awful small stage, bad songs and only eastern countries voting for each other.
