You couldn't have picked a worse picture to illustrate your point, that one just makes the stage look the best! I love the 2007 stage, it's great how no one uses the catwalk so it's a nice thing to keep a bit of distance between the audience and the performers. It's the perfect small stage.

Back to topic, I'm in two minds about this stage. I'll judge it properly when I see it on the TV, I mean last year I thought the Baku stage was awful before everything and now I think it's one of the best.

Helsinki stage is a joke, i love Malmö stage (not like i love Dusseldorf stage but it sure beats Oslo, Helsinki and Belgerade)

Helsinki is just a small floor, a small screen, some lights and a fishbone (wow amazing omg)

I loved Oslo's stage but I agree, the Helsinki stage is probably the worst in the last 8 years.

Hello friend!
I liked Oslo too (more than Moscow, actually) the lights gave an stage-experience you had never seen before in Eurovision.
I just really like the Malmö stage.

For me, this is the best use of stage lighting (or lack of)

Bosnia & Herzegovina 2006 was probably the only entry looking good on that awful stage (I liked the idea of the ancient Greek theatre but it reminded me of shopping-centres' stairs instead)

Yeah, if you think about it the concept for the stage was great, but it looked a bit bad indeed.

I agree there.

Back to the 2013 stage, what are those cut-outs??? Are those just for one entry???

It might be small, but it's wonderful and effective. We don't need kilometric stages like Moscow 2009.

I'm totally ok with the stage but ...the arena looks very very very small. It seems like even the arena in our national final was bigger !

Stage looks smaller everytime I see it. Most Nordic NFs put it to shame.
