haha I guess they choose the cheaper way and there won't be virtual envelopes .... real once like in good old 2008 :D
just a joke!

I wish though! Prefer old envelopes... although they'd use virtual envelopes as they are definitely not opened in random order - the qualified artists almost always feature in the green room shot right before a finalist is announced.

I think the old envelopes was so un-exciting

In the Swedish Melodifestivalen they spend like 30 seconds showing the contenders before announcing each qualifier, it's ridiculous and frustrating as hell to watch!

This stage is made for the big and monstrous performances. I think, the chances for Bulgaria, Romania, Moldova, Albania and Azerbaijan have increased well.

I think so too. I can't believe people seem to be disappointed with it. Yes it is smaller but things are going to be a lot more intimate and explosive. Judging by the rehearsals, our eyes are going to be in for a treat. Theres so much new stuff that hasn't been done before. Some of the past big stages have been ridiculous such as 2011's which felt very distant and cold.

I loved the 2011 and 2012 stages with these big LCD screens. Especially the 2011 Jedward performance wouldn't have been that amazing without the huge backdrop. This year's stage on the other hand looks plain boring and way too small. I can't help it but I will most likely be disappointed.

The stage looks better as I thought and even the hall seems kind of big on screen.

Stage looked very nice. Can't wait to see Bulgaria and Romania perform on that.

Well, I was very skeptical at first, but seeing it on TV now I must say it worked very well. The lighting and hologram effects in combination with the form of the stage made it look bigger than it actually is and it was actually really beautifully made... I must say this turned out alot better than I feared... I actually must say it's one of my favorites stages to date.

The stage didn't impress me at all. It looked too small and simplistic. On the other hand, postcards and butterfly vizualization looked really wonderdul!

I agree. They certainly managed to "hide" the presence of a small arena and made it look big instead. I must say the stage doesn't look small from behind. But there's always a feeling someone could drop off at the front, there are no slopes so they gotta be careful and stay back at the stage.

The stage works very well, but it is undeniably small.

Yes, but If I have to choose beetween small venue but warm like this or a big one but dull like last year's...I'd pick the small one

Ok, this stage is epic. It might battle for the 1st place against 2007!

The stage is not perfect, but the lighting is superb!

I think the shape of the stage in combination with the lighting and hologram effects make it look wider and deeper than it actually is... so the lightning effects are really working their magic on this and I think it looks very nice.
