And now that the stage is revealed it's time to send another message to MGP's page and ask them to keep Margaret's performance the way it is NOW! With every single detail! :D  xcheer

And we're back in the 90's again

It looks alright... hard to tell right now... I didn't want to spoil myself so I'm a bit disappointed of myself that I checked it out :(

What I don't like about the idea behind the this year's stage is that it doesn't take into consideration different styles of songs. They want this "intimate" and "stripped" feeling for the whole ESC, but while that might work for some entries (mostly ballads) it doesn't work for the more dancier numbers. Also, with the 90's look, with juries back om-board etc, it seems we're heading back in time and I'm not sure if it's good for ESC. Back then ESC was laughed at for being dated and boring without any modern influences and without much life...

I mean it looks alright, and I hope they will manage to make each entrant get their own individual style and personality... if not then I'm disappointed. I wonder how they'll do it without LED's without making it all look too same-y?...

I do think it's a bit too small for my taste aswell... but I expected this since it's SVT and MF always has small stages :(

The stage looks like the logo lips from 2000.
Poor and small scene.
Think it will be beautiful with lights, audience and beautiful singers!

This could favour all the ballads in here. I might think that San Marino could be epic with this stage.

Looks slightly better than Oslo (which was horrid). I'm sure it'll look presentable but I'm not wowed by it yet.

The 90's called, they want their small and cheap stage back.

That's exactly why Im worried as well. The only thing that seems to be able to change in all the presentations is the lightning, and that's not enough to give each song a different feeling...it doesn't look totally bad, but I'll have to wait til May.

Stages always look a LOT better by the time rehearsals come around so I won't make too much comment yet, but it could be okay

My initial reaction is that it looks good...but not great. I kinda miss the razzle-dazzle of the last few years. I think it will grow on people and I'm sure that come the contest itself it will work out well.

I think it's a great stage in comparison to the one I had in mind when the blueprints came out. Otherwise, it's ok, it's not one of the worst stages like 2001 or 2011, but I'm wondering what that thing is in the background, if it's not LEDs. A big plastic sculpture? I'm iffy on that if that's the case.
