3 from me !

The song is overrated, here.

This guy wrongly chose the continent and the competition

This is my current #1. And I don't even know why. I hate everything that this song represents. Voice, genre, style. But... it's just... so good. It lifts me up and gives me pure energy. RIP me.

I came here with very very low expectations because I hate :nl: 2014. But it's not bad! 6 points for now :D

Not loving this as much as some people, but it's an enjoyable, well-made bit of country rock with some attitude, and I can see this growing on me both with time and with live performances. It's also not the kind of thing we get often at Eurovision, which is nice. 7 points, with the chance for some upgrades later.

I think the description of "dad-rock" that I saw someone giving this a while back was perfect: it sounds a lot like the 80s rock music my dad listens to all the time. And indeed, after my dad complaining about virtually every song he's heard from this season (as he always does at first; nostalgia goggles and so on), I showed him this and it was immediately met with "ooh, this is a good one. Okay, he's going to win in May. Can you put this one on my phone?"

So yeah, if my dad is representative of all the dads around Europe, then Waylon may well be getting a strong vote from the older audience

I can't be the one who hates this song with a passion right? I hate everything about it: his voice, the genre, the song itself...

It's currently last place for me, I'm shocked even Montenegro managed to surpass it.

Not gonna pretend I like it. It's absolutely horrible. This "intelligent" kind of country has never spoken to me. The Common Linnets were cool for their country pop mix but this is just too much. It sounds like something I picture truck drivers jamming to. :? No offence. Just not my taste. And I would be VERY surprised if it qualified.

Bless your dad enjoying this. You know that dad rock is actually a thing? It started off as a derogatory term but has become accepted as a sort of goofy tag for a specific style of rock.

I think I need to acquire a child or something as half of what I listen to gets called dad rock.
