It just does not stand out enough to seriously gather enough attention to win. For me, 'La Forza' is the only song I can actually see winning in May, even though it would be underwhelming to me...

See, that I don't agree with. It will stand out, for some as a sore thumb and for others as the countryrock song they'll love. But either way it won't be possible to ignore it.

The common Linnets were my winners in 2014, when I found out Waylon is back I was so happy and my expectations were very high.

After listening to the song I can say it really stands out, I expected such style and it's so good. will be very high in my personal ranking once again.. I like this one a lot and in such a weak year Amsterdam2019 may happen

This sounds like the USA has joined Eurovision and decided to go all ethnic by sending some hick from the Southern US. It's not my favorite genre and sounds quite dated but it's okay for what it is. I give it 7 points.

I hope they're not gonna go with the sitting-in-front-of-the-band staging. I guess Waylon thinks of himself as a low-key, down-to-earth performer, but this is a campy song, and they need to go full camp. Get a team of cowboy & cowgirl line dancers in sequined cowboy shirts, spiked boots and all accessories you can think of, gettig stage front to clap their hands, jumping and turning over tables and riding on each others backs, maybe even twiddling silvery guns firing glitter and staging a comical "duel", as explosives go off around them. Hell, throw in two males kissing each other too for some extra points. Everyone's gonna talk about that, and it's completely on point with the song. DO IT!

3 Please .... don't Change anything about the stage. I don't want to imagine it with cowbvoys and cowgirls ... okay, of course, the song does have Country elements, but in the first line, I see it as a great rock song. Anything else would desturb the powerful song!
