but "dance you off" is my 3rd favorite swedish entry in this decade.. so that's nice
Hahah, I know, I am kidding here, most of the time, even if I sound serious from time to time.
It is my second or third favourite Swedish entry in this decade, also, I can't decide.

I have complete confidence in Benjamin and his team. There's a lot of pros around him, not just the esc team. He's smart enough to follow tech advice. I thought 2nd rehearsal sounded great. Not saying much tho due to the crappy sound equipment in my computer

The new vocoder effect. Sounds good I think and you can distinguish Benjamin's voice easier and clearer. Not so original tho. But the whole act would be good. Blogger Songfestival.be publish full clips for many but removes them after awhile.

I was pleasantly surprised by his performance at the Eurovillage yesterday. I thought it would be boring without the light effects in the back, but it wasn't. His vocal performance was okay and he could entertain in that simple stage. Of course you could see he was doing the same dance routine as he does when he has the light effects, but honestly he exceeded my expectations.

Many people in the comment section have noticed that lights are not so flashy like in Melfest ( it is a bad thing, for them, I guess), and that now the whole construction could be seen. It looks different to me somehow, I also noticed it...Like it is not light tubes, but tubes with bold, stronger color. 
They think it looks cheaper now, slightly. Btw, those comments are coming from people who actually love the song and the performance, not from haters. :? They think it should be improved on the next rehearsal, to be same as in Melfest, but I know it is not possible, because constuction is simply the new, those are not the same lights from Melfest. And dark horizontal lines that connect the contructions can be seen now in the middle of it, like connecting two halfs of it.

But problem is not in sound that much ( altough they see problem now even with the sound, without the backing track, to me-it sounds even better), but in those lights, they are not so flashy, and I liked it that way more, old lights I mean. I still like it, but it looks...weird now, I don't know which word to use to describe it. Maybe I am just used to old lights.

I didn't notice this until now, I agree that it's kind of ugly actually. I wonder if they will care about it though? Feels like it's hard to change it so it isn't visible but we can hope for the best... The weird thing is from 00:24-00:25 in the second rehearsal video it looks like the construction disappears with the lights still being bright? However I don't think it will affect its chances in any way. I think the colours look the same as in MF though. The lines in the floor is quite ugly as well but oh well

Oooh, I agree, with everything. I still love it, it is good performance, but construction really seems cheaper and uglier this time (that is something I was quite afraid of, when I heard that they will build new in so short time). Most of the voters will see it for the first time (unlike us, fandom), and I think they will think it is great, not ugly, cheap, and that kind of stuff, but for us who knows it looked kinda better, it looks weird.
But as I' ve said, I still like it though, because it is one of the visually best performances overall this year, but I am just too used to old lights.

It is kinda good thing Benjamin is more visible now, but when the lights were more sparkly and flashy, it looked more like music video, now it looks more like construction. I don't know what to think now, which of them I like more, I am really confused.
It is still effective, of course.
