Nevertheless this pointless overhyped drama, and making the bull out of fly, peolle called him arrogant a**hole, FROM THE START OF THE SEASON, when poor kid was chosen to represent his country, just because he represents Sweden, and because of his sassy dance performance, and confident behavior on stage, so it is not like this drama matters. Even if he said all nice things, you would all think the worst of him, it is NOT like you would start to like and appreciate him suddenly, so why still bother and discussing this. (Hipocrysy at its best!!! ) Noone ever gave him the chance to prove himself as a good person and artist, from the beginning just. And now people are hypocrytes, but I am just 100 % sure that I am right at this point, even when many people here try to prove that I am wrong. "I am not hating on him, but just..." Oh, just don't even start, and admit you really hate him, whoever you are.He was wrong, but even if he wasn't, you will still all act rude and mean towards him, I just know it, and noone will convince me that it is not like that. Fandom just got now real reason to stomp on him even more, but as I 've said they did it even before this drama, and it is sad he naively gave you reason, because you waited for it so much, like bloodthirsty vampires wait for the blood. ENDING POINT of this- your treatment/reactions/emotions/behavior towards him are and will be the same WITH/ WITHOUT HIS REACTION VIDEO. So what are you trying to prove there for days?! Get a life, and enjoy songs and contestants you actually love/support, this way you are all just waisting your precious time and energy for someone you think is not worth it and anything just.

Sorry, but not my case. Not trying to convince you, as you whish, I don't care, but for anyone else: here you can go backwards a check what I actually thought about him before and see how wrong you are:

I don't think that anymore, not becase suddenly he turned out to be swede, obviously, but because of the video.
I still like the song, yes, but I won't support him. I just don't feel like it now.

Also, I would like people to think twice before saying there's absolutely nothing wrong with laughthing at your weaker rivals.
As said before: he has already apologized and the video was removed. That honours him

Ok, you have 42 acts more to vote for them! It is not like he will suffer because of you. He has juries, they are not biased from hatred like fandom, and 95% of people who will see and hear him for the first time in semi 2, without knowing about "the drama". So, as I've pointed, what are you all trying to prove here, nothing will happen that way. Dearie, don't waste your time and energy for someone "worthless" like Benjamin Ingrosso.

Or should I remind you that Mans made homophobic comments and he won?!
this is absolutely not what happened and it drives me nuts that people still believe and spread this nonsense. mans made one poorly worded but not at all malicious comment one year before he did eurovision and that's it.

like i actually agree with your point otherwise but mans is such a good person and deserves better than being labelled with this injustice forever.

I agree, and I love Mans too, those ARE NOT my words ( but from sensitive fandom, just like now with Benjamin), he was taken out of the context, same as Benjamin's words, because he was trying to be funny, he has that goofy spirit, but he was misinterpreted. It is similar kind of drama, too much fuss over basically nothing. :) Bolded goes for Benjamin, too. At least I think so, who want to think he is mean and malicious, can, if they want, as I've said that in my long analysis post. And I love your comments, because they are either smart or sarcastic, but never rude, and you never miss the point, even when you are not fan of some entry, it is very rare here, among fandom. :)

Wow, this is going up at the odds like crazy. I knew it from the start, it always belonged at the top 5, noone will top the aestethics it has, when it comes to the staging. Just everything to be excellent tomorrow! xcrossed

I expect that :se: will go up even more at the odds tomorrow after his rehearsal, still many that don´t have a clue of his staging. ;)

It just hit me what an advantage:se: have this year, if you look at the other countries rehearsals you can see that the setting on the stage is basically the same for everyone since there is no LED-screens, the only difference is the lights and some stage decoration that a few countries has used.

Benjamins staging will probably blow the others out of water, and it will really stand out, more than I could have thought!

Will it be enough for winning? A week ago I would have said no, but right now as things stand I could see us win again.
At least Benjamin deservs top 5, if he scores worse than that I would actually be a little disappointed.

I never, never questioned its appeal, I was in shock that fandom don't even see the huge appeal of this entry, there is no such perfect combination like this, this year. Staging is sick, how it is good, who invented it should be awarded! I hope that changes are not bad and big, Benjamin mentioned changes, 2 days ago, he has said small changes, and I am afraid of vocals, because of the backing track, I am curious how it will sound now- but however, Sweden never failed in the recent years. It will be top 3 or 5 at the odds for sure, tomorrow. :) I was so sure to say, that Sweden this year, will be placed from 1-3 place, but most likely, 3-5, but this just screams top 5 now.

Funny thing is Unibet still has Benjamin as the winner in the semi, while Rubak is way above in the final.

I think calling them colleagues is a stretch, and Eurovison has never had the aura of don’t critique your competitors. Several artists over the years have thought and stated their song is the best, and they should. Like Tooji said: if I don’t believe in myself, who will? Being humble is not an objective criteria.

If I was the drummer I would just shake it off and laugh, you can’t take everything in life too serious

Ok the word colleagues perhaps comes off a bit wrong in English. My point is that they're all artists. Nobody said you shouldn't believe in yourself or think that your song is the best. But talking down other songs and artists so that your song looks better is wrong! There's no debate on that.

And no, of course you can't take everything in life too seriously but the way Benjamin laughed at him was disgusting the least. He was clearly making fun of him.

For me the whole thing is over. I just replied to you because he is not allowed to criticize the other contestants. At least not until the contest is over. The fact that he apologized doesn't help him look like the good guy again because clearly he was told by his PR team to do so after all those negative comments.

I still like the song and I'm predicting an easy top 5 but it seems that he's become so arrogant since he won Melodifestivalen. Anyway, as I said, for me the whole thing is over and I'm looking forward to his rehearsal.

EDIT: He hasn't lost me yet with that behavior coz I blame it a bit at his age. He's still too young and maybe he got carried away. There is time to redeem himself. And that whole thing with the reaction video will literally have zero impact on the voting outcome.

I see where you're coming from, but I think it's entirely possible for Benjamin to place higher in the semi and then lose out to Rybak in the final. A later running order is always going to help, and there's a big gap between Rybak's #1 slot and Benjamin's #15. And you'd imagine they wouldn't put Rybak super-early, or Benjamin super-late, again in the finals once they both (presumably) qualify.

In other words, Sweden with its favorable #15 slot could absolutely win the weak-ish SF2, but if Norway ends up later in the running order for the final, then I think Rybak will have the edge over Benjamin there.

There's simply no way Rybak will beat Benjamin, possibly he'll manage a Michał Szpak but that's it I think. Benjamin has a full package and that's the reason he won Melodifestivalen.

I think Rybak will win over Ingrosso but it‘s hard to predict, it‘s gonna be a tough battle with probably close results, but imo the most important question is:

Will these two countries give each other a lot of points this year ?

I‘m excited to find out. We didn‘t have a year this decade where both countries competed for a top 5 rank. Okay, maybe in 2014, but I expected Silent Storm doing better that year. (At least to me, Silent storm was better than Undo).

Do people realize he won with same number of 12's as queen Loreen from international juries-6×12? Only Mans beats them with 9×12. :D And still people think Sweden will flop. And Rybak did poorly with juries this year, so same will probably be in the contest.

I expect televote to boost Rybak not juries!
