It's a nice song, the chemistry is good between Alfred and Amaia (are they together btw?) but I don't see it doing well. This is one of the cases that I was talking about in Cyprus' thread. That every year we get a copy of last year's biggest hit (outside the Eurovision bubble) or last year's winner. They tried to serve us another Amar pelos dois. A soft, touching, cute, sweet song. I like the fact that it feels true and sincere and you get the feeling of the lyrics. Alfred and Amaia seem so young (don't know their age) and the whole performance feels so innocent and pure. But as I said, the average viewer will definitely be reminded of Portugal 2017.

Anyway, good luck guys!

(If only Magia had a better chorus... The verses are amazing)

Yep, they started something during OT and they are together, as you can see with the ream chemistry between them.

BTW I don't think this is similar to "Amar pelos dois" at all. If "Tu canción" looks similar to another ESC song that's "Calm after the storm" definitely.

Omg so much hate on this forum! Maybe I am biased but am I the only one who sees the potential of this entry?

What similarity you see between this song and Amar pelos dois?? Every romantic ballad is now considered a copy of Salvador Sobral? Because I don't see anything else... There have always been and there will always be romantic ballads, this is not the first one that Spain sends to ESC, so I don't see your point tbh

I like her, but he is weird. The song is quite sweet.

No surprise for me would be France giving 12 points to Spain and vice versa.

I hear so much about the "chemistry"... Well, they don't channel that to me, tbh. In the beginning, when Alfred sings for the first time, he has an expression as if he just has a serious stomach ache... But as I said - time for improvement.

Zzzzz. Following the last year trend usually doesn't work out. I can honestly see this song in bottom 5. And i don't even feel that chemistry that some are talking about...this is just an overdramatized entry. I'm not buying it. :2:

So now there is some drama going around because Alfred has been going to Catalonian pro-independence rallies

While he's been in the Big Brother: The Musical house? Damn, now that's versatility.

If Puigdemont can be president while being in Belgium, why should Alfred not be able to go to rallies while being in the academy-house.

that is... mmh... interesting ?
I think this song is like super annoying and terrible but It's like being trapped in a Disney Movie with bright colors, you want more and want to stay and die in Rapunzel's bed while doing some lines with Aurora. Pizza 10 cheeses. (= I like it for all the wrong reasons)

Well, this was pretty known from the very beginning of OT and nobody seemed to care about it. Personally, I was against sending Alfred, not because his political views, I couldn't care less, but because:
1- We are fed up of the Catalan thing. I really don't want to bring this to music or Eurovision. It's extremely tiring.
2- It wouldn't help him at all. He would suffer a lot of attacks from bigots.

But in the end, it had a very narrow impact. I suppose some campaigns against him will happen again right before Eurovision, but that's all about it.
