I'm a bit cold after hearing the songs, there's no winning material, but at least most of the songs (not that "Chico malo" shit of course) are decent. It really looks like the songs were made for them and that's good, I hope they can do something good live when they learn it.
Pleasantly surprised by Ana's song. I would like to send something like this to Eurovision and I'm sure she will make a great show, but I don't think she stands a chance.
For me: Amaia, Almaia or Ana (no Aitana please, her song starts promising but then it goes nowhere). But I need to see more.

I think this 4 are the ones that can bring a good result to Spain. But my favorites remain the ones from Amaia and Aitana. If one of them wins it could easily turn out on the best spanish eurovision in the last 10 years!

For now I think my favorites are the songs from Amaia, Aitana and Alfred-Amaia, but things might change

I'm pretty sure this would be my number 1 ESC song of 2018, uncontested. I'm besotted from the first listen. Please Spain. I feel speechless. This is one of those "give me this and I won't ask for anything else" songs. I'd be content having just "Al cantar" to look forward to at Eurovision.

Amaia - sucks, super boring and dull. reminds me of a slow version of that 2010 travesty
Aitana - boring and lifeless. About as exciting as watching paint dry.

this is a hit. Gives me some Alvaro vibes, super catchy and better than that dross before. As I like it, and it's Spain it ofc means this will flop.
Miriam - I quite like this, I need to hear it properly live ofc, but It's not a bad at all, but not great either.
Alfred - I like this also, it has a nice melody to it. The chorus is explosive and those trumpets are great.
Alfred & Amaia - AGAIN boring. This Amaia has been hyped by all of you, and her songs are boring. It has quite a nice melody to it, but it's boring and in a big final esc line up, it will be forgotten.
Aitana & Ana - We're blessed with something that is uptempo again. It's not as good as Anas solo song but I like this. Seems a random duet tbh.
Miriam & Agoney - Are they recording a new intro the Spanish version of Neighbours? It literally sounds like the intro to a tv show. I like it, but something is not right for me.
Side note: WHY DOES EVERYONE CRY? SPAIN 2014 NF ALL OVER AGAIN.

Everything below the line burn with fire, the top 3 are literally the only ones even worth considering. A incredibly bland line up for the most part, but I do really like my top 3, and especially my number 1. It could change when they sing live, but imo Ana should take this. All your hype for Amaia and I couldn't be more disappointed, hers are some of the worse there tbh.

Alfred - ok-ish song, need to see a stage performance to get a better idea of it

Aitana & Ana - nice song but when they both start to sing it's getting super messy; why did they put them together in this duo? they dont really fit
Miriam & Agoney - Why did they waste Agoney (I watched some Gala performances of him after hearing the songs) on this stupid song?
Overall: Dissapointing. Nothing out of this would get a place higher than 20th in May.

See, this is why Amber/Gunesh moments are so special between Ashley and I, as we never agree on music unless the song in question is a hot schlager bop performed by a commanding, inspirational woman with a strong accent. I need to listen to his favourites from this NF now so that I can shade them publicly. Brb.

I expected a very different song for Aitana. She's been singing many pop songs in the contest and she has proven she can dance perfectly well. I would have given her Miriam's song, she could have sung it much better. Those high notes are difficult for Miriam, but I think they wouldn't be that difficult for Aitana. What a boring song she has been given instead...
