Re: SPAIN 2018

Thanks! Really smth special and fresh, especially the color of the voice.. :)

The last time i saw this potential was when Annalisa was in Amici in 2010 and i thought she would make a Sanremo one day.Its four now. This year she might make the podium at last as well.Amaia has faults, but her raw talent and potential is huge. She has the ability to inject her own personality into a melody and make it her own.My worry is if Spain can get her the right song to really do justice to her potential.I dont envy them there because thats going to be very hard to get right. Her ability is boundless though. The way she got the pitch to float just above the violin in the refrain of Te Recuerdo Amanda was something simply delightful.I dont often see such talent these days.I adore her.
I think Spain should be really proud of these young artists. The quality is very high here. The production values of the show has also been superb. The producers have done a very good job in getting these talented young people to really come into themselves.Fantastic show and a fantastic bunch of young people.Spain,i salute you.

Re: SPAIN 2018

I love Amaia and I would send her to everything possible, but I didn't like her yesterday. She sang beautifully, but she had a sad protest song, a moan, contained but a moan. Yesterday it wasn't the chance to show her sweet style again. Still, she delivered it great.

I'd love to have her alone in Lisbon, but it's gonna be Almaia. Let's hope for a good song for them.

The producers were testing her i think and letting the others have more of the show at the point where she couldnt go out.Im very worried with 100% televote though for the choice.I also think its a big mistake to go for a duet. They simply take away from how good Amaia is doing that.Alfred simply isnt anywhere near as talented as her and i dont think it will work.I hope they get a poor song so Amaia can take the win alone, but Alfred is popular so Almaia might be the result.

I like Amaia's song xheart even though it will flop in May. It sounds like something that Portugal (before Salvador) would send. Also it slightly reminds me Algo Pequeñito.
Not sure about Aitana :?

Also something tells me they put a stake on Amaia's duo with Alfred so they gave her such song.

Ana - slightly more uptempo Las Ketchup with a spoken "rap" part.

Miriam - they wanted her to walk Ruth Lorenzo & Pastora Soler (2 best positions of the decade after all) road but she obviously flopped.

Alfred - your reaction when they serve you crap:

Easily the best song, just with the backbone of the piano you can see most of the melody is driven by the female voice so Amaia will get to really power it.There is a nice build before the refrain so id expect this to really beef out with the instruments added. There are several points where she can really lift the vocals. With the right close in camera work this will be jury bait. That song is designed for Amaia to show her power with Alfred providing depth to the song.I like the potential of it and Amaia will bring it to life.

Re: SPAIN 2018

For now I think my favorites are the songs from Amaia, Aitana and Alfred-Amaia, but things might change
The song from Miriam-Agoney seems to be the worst

Re: SPAIN 2018

I am not really convinced by any of the songs chosen, but we still have to listen to the final versions. I liked Aitana, Alfred and Amaia’s songs the most
