Bottom 5? I think not. Well, when I heard her in her first live perfomance I was a little dissapointed because this is my third favourite entry this year, but she has improved a lot and she keeps improving as the weeks go by, then you have described this song as a "screamfest", I guess you mean the chorus part "ieeeieeeooo", for me is not screaming, just high notes very well sung, and that makes this song so epic, anyway, I respect your opinion and your personal prediction and of course I'm sure you'll respect mine, you know there's nothing written about tastes!
In any case, ok, let's suppose this is too much screaming, going back to Eurovision 2012 we have Rona from Albania and her song "Suus", she "screamed" a lot / she sang perfectly the highest notes of her song. She got the third place in jury voting, All I want to say is: whether it is a screamfest song as you've said or this is just a powerfull song with high notes as I prefer to say, it seems that juries tend to like this sort of songs and rank them highly. basing myself on this fact, I think Spain will get once again a good position from national juries, such as Pastora Soler in 2012 and Ruth last year, saving them from the bottom in case they obtain a poor televoting result, anyhow I have a feeling they're going to do well in televoting as well. In the worst case they have got insured a few points from several countries like Portugal (easily the 12 because of their full song in Spanish), France, Belgium, Switzerland, Italy, Cyprus et cetera.
In reality, We are opponents about Spain's song xD
If your prediction and your opinion were like a wheel, I would rotate it 180 degrees, I think this is one of the best Spanish entries in my humble opinion and I would like to see Edurne reaching the top 5 in Vienna!
Buena suerte Edurne en Viena, me gusta tu cancion y espero tengas un buen puesto. (any spanish guy, correct me if this is misspelled, last week I posted in the Italian thread and I already have two friends, they want to help me to improve my Italian level, so I expect the same from you.
