Once again....WHEN DO WE GET THE VERSION WITH ORCHESTRA!

I may be reading it wrong but my interpretation of what ParadiseES has said is the version Edurne as has been performing is the final version, there won't be anymore changes. Edurne wanted more pop and the composers wanted more symphonic so they compromised. And since this version sounds more pop it sounds like Edurne won.

So therefore there may be no complete other version with mainly the orchestra, just little fragments that were previously teased

I could be completely wrong though

I don't want it to be sang on ESC, I just want to listen to it in best quality possible. Why should I care what they want to say and what not to. I mean, the others release other versions of their songs, right? :v

Maybe they don't release the symphonic version yet because many people asked the Spanish delegation to represent us in Vienna with it, and now, they prefer to put the focus on the Eurovision version. I don't know, just suppositions.

I always felt, the song felt incomplete from on orchestral point of view. They should have done more with it. The fact it feels thin worries me. Unless Edurne pulls off a fantastic live performance that is visually appealing, I'm going to be rather pessimistic about Spain's odds this year.

I love the fact she sings in her own language
I'm currently learning Spanish and Italian so thank you to Edurne, Ignazio, Piero and Gianluca, your songs helped me to realize my knowledge about these two languages is not as low as I thought, except some words I understood the lyrics easily

It's not going to be the ESC version though, is it?

Don't think so. the version we've all heard Edurne perform is the final one, she wanted a more pop version to the song.

I suppose whatever happens at ESC there is going to be a big group of people who will say the symphonic version should have been the version that competed and how stupid they were to choose the other

Each time I hear this, I keep getting visions of it winning. To be honest, I think a victory for Spain this year would be the best possible thing for the contest. An epic song with strong ethnic elements, sung completely in native tongue. If all the right pieces come together, this song is going to stun on the night. It's such a majestic piece and I find the refrain incredibly poignant, the more I think about it. I like it so much more than the other recent Spanish entries. The only problem for it is that it's got very tough female competition.

It's nice to read that. Anyway, I'm more pessimistic and I think Spain will struggle to be in the top 10 this year. I don't know what's gonna happen in the end but it's pretty impossible we win the whole contest...

However... when you get visions of a song winning, does it come true? ;)

He's usually quite good at predicting how well countries would do. He predicted Austria would win last year, and predicted Israel's flop.
