I thought they were actually working as headphones and not just stage prop, since other artists wear earplugs when rehearsing, but then I saw that the cable ends at Marjetka's knee. It makes no sense.
Why should make sense? Does Conchita's beard make sense??? Not to me, but I still like it

I would so much love to see Slovenia getting a great result. I like the song. I like her voice. But after the second rehearsal I admit that Slovenia is in for a struggle. .. I don't see it as a possible winner anymore

No one in Slovenia expects them to win, reaching the final is big enough success for the most. So don't be too disappointed when they don't win (or even end in top 10), 'cause that's highly unlikely anyways no matter the performance.
I agree with you; reaching top 10 is always a great achievement. And one should never be disappointed with a top 10 result.

That's what I always had in mind for them. Winning isn't easy, and atm it doesn't look likely. Let them at least get a new national record.

So, Georgia's great staging didn't work on TV. I hate to say it, but I will (with pleasure): HAVEN'T I TOLD YOU SO? From time to time one could barely see Nina out of the smoke And those tears looked simply out of the place. So... Now, I would like to hear all those who praised Georgia's staging and criticized Slovenia's... Russia was absolutely the best, Denmark is out, Albania was occasionally out of the tune... Positive surprises: Moldova (great show on TV) and Belarus - I loved it, and hopefully both do qualify tonight. Belgium... Meh, too screamy and the Estonian girl's voice was shaky - too shaky for my taste So, let us see what happens...

The past two years, my 2nd favorite in the contest has performed 2nd in the 2nd semifinal and has missed out on qualification; since Maraaya are performing second(-to-last), I'm worried that the curse may continue, so I'll actually be happy as long as they qualify.
