Couple of things must be said by me after having been away for so long.

1) I love the (non-)use of LED background. Thanks God we didn't get another landscape or trees. I'd just puke after seing the same thing (like in 10 other cases).
2) I totally dislike the dress. As one German commentator on Youtube said, she looks like wraped up in a courtain. The dress is horrible, horrible. The same designer like the last year! Tinkara looked like a witch! Martjetka/Daisy is such a beautiful lady and this dress doesn't do justice to her beauty. BURN IT! BURN! JUST BURN!
3) Everything else sounds and looks great. No other complaints or comments.

To sum up: BURN THE DRESS. I'd rather see Marjetka naked on the stage than in this horror OXO I am out. Going to see their conference now. Hugs people

I could not disagree more with point 2 (I think the dress is what-the-hell and wonderful and found Tinkara's witch look last year perfect for the rest of the staging) and disagree somewhat on point 1. Another set of trees wouldn't have been good, but something or other might've been nice. Point 3? Definitely agreed.

That's true, I also loved Tinkara's costume and witch look and that's what elevated what had always been a dull song for me. Loved the swirling stage, the flute, everything.
Not keen on this year's dress although I love the song. It's going opposite ways around

Yes, but a dress that isn't that bad won't do, right? We were aiming for victory here, and not that bad doesn't win anything. Only perfect does. Granted, it's just a dress, but dresses do detract from, or enhance, performances.

I like the simplistic visuals, but then again I realize some people expect more. But a very simple show can also make it stand out.

Imo, the song is better than any other this year. As someone who started watching ESC about a quarter of a century ago, I could give a rats ass about LED lights.

Well, I think they actually did a lot of extra things during past months. The video with Perpetuum Jazzile, the other clip with all that kids, they promised to give some chocolates and cds and other things to fans... I think all these things have to cost some money.

True. The problem is that their interpretation of "simple" doesn't do that. At least that's what I can conclude from the snippet + press room reactions. I hope they'll at least figure out some better camera angles before the big day.

- price range 1: colors and geometric shapes
- price range 2: trees
- price range 3: earth & landscapes
- price range 4: wings
- price range 5: custom visuals

I've been looking at pictures and realised the dress is not that bad really. I believed it to be flat, but the cloth actually has a fllowery pattern which makes it look much less formal. I quite like it now

Guess all they have to do is to find their cameras and connect to the audience at home, since that seems to be the main criticism they're getting. It shouldn't be difficult as they seemed to know how to do it to perfection in their NF.

I'm sure people will find it refreshing after so many trees and huge led background images.

You have proven you can come up with a potential winner song. That's the first part of the job already done. The rest should actually be easier, so don't write off your chances like that.
