Yes, but the ex Yugo voting block exist and it's stronger and more faithful than the called Nordic block, which as I said It's proven that won't give the 12 points to their neighbors every year just because of that.
It's not enough for succeing or winning the entire contest, sure...but It exist.

I'm glad anyway that Serbia didn't make it, It was really awful. The best ex Yu entry this year was maybe Slovenia (which is the less supported country) but Hanna spoiled the entry being out of tune and the whole performance was a totally mess. Croatia was boring and Montenegro failed because of the astronaut rappers (Nina was great)...that's my opinion.

 The Nordic countries started this block voting. And let's not forget that every year the fans overrate the Nordic countries to an extreme maximum. So you have the polls, most of the contest fans and the bookies. If that is not enough, than I don't know what is.

The difference is, these people here will forget about this after the final. They won't write letters to EBU and other "relevant" people, like some people did in 2007 (who were sorry to say butthurt for more than 6 months). I even supported them, so they will stop mumble about it.

The performance turned out to be better than I expected, and having 3 of our Ex-Yu neighbors in our semi +Austria which is known to have a lot of our diaspora I really thought we were a sure qualifier... Can't understand what exactly went wrong, considering that the girls even had a bonus of performing last... Anyways, I thought that we deserved to qualify over Belgium and Lithuania... Well, nothing we can do about it now...

Rating high to the Nordics in polls, eurofan's blogs and bookies have nothing to do with the voting block and It doesn't effect in the contest...and of course It's not that It comes only from Nordic countries, so that's pointless.

As I said, at least you still never know to where the 12 points will go from the Nordics, IT can be to another Nordic fellow or to Cyprus or Hungary or anywhere ....but everybody expect that a ex Yugo will give 12 to another ex Yugo, no matter what, and that's the fact.

I voted for it :( I thought they had one of the best performances, and their outfits were brilliant! Clueless about why they didn't make it.

Because of the start position, the big amount of ex-Yugolavian countries and the fact that Serbia makes it every year no matter what they send, I thought that they were rather secure on qualification.. Apparently I was very wrong :(
Still believe that the song was decent though

I admit I am still surprised this failed to make it through, it had a great draw + enough diaspora to squeeze through... it's Serbia's offical first defeat (could it be they were 16th with the juries and 4th or something similar on televoting?)

And yes, Barbara Dex should be theirs!

In 2009 Serbia didn't pass to the Final either.

The only thing I am sad about is because :rs: is not in the final and because there are people who loved the song and who are disappointed now.

Of course, I am also sad because of the 3 girls who are huge potentials whose careers ( still non-existant btw) will suffer massively because of this as they are written in the history as the worst Serbian entrants ever and not by their mistake. Thanks to personal egoistic ambitions of the composer Mare, the PRVA television and RTS, they got this heavy debacle and it will be hard as hell for them to do anything now here as people already call them w*ores, Alices in porn-land etc..........

Instead of showing off their beauty and talent they are etiquetted as circus acts and prostitutes.

As for the song itself - it got what it deserved. :rs: didn't deserve the final this year (based on the song only) and I am not sad because of it at all. On the contrary, I am glad it is history now, so I can focus on next year already. If it wasn't for my own country I wouldn't give a single damn about this entry. It was among the 3 worst ones last night for me.

RTS should take responsibility for this.

Don't be bitter in defeat. Although I'm not a fan of "Ljubav je svuda", this is undeniably one of the memorable entries this year, regardless of its non-qualifying for the final. Yes, their costumes were awful and the song could have been a hundred times better, but they gave it their best and will be forever remembered in the fans' fond memories (unlike, say, Russia 2013).
