This is my most awkward grower of the year or maybe the most awkward ever.
I keep rewatching their semifinal performance and I love it! They sounded kind of... dampened in the studio version. But the live performance was really powerful :D And all the charm they had! I even like the staging, however cheesy it may be.

How the hell do I like this?!

I won't speak about the booing imbeciles cause everything's been said already.

If I end up voting for Russia on saturday... well, I would never imagine that xD

Matt: It's so weird how well their pronunciation is considering they don't speak any English. It once again sounded really good and the backup singers add a richness to the chorus, the song is well packaged and they sounded great. There was more energy onstage, nicely done girls!
Ahmet: Average performance, there was too much smoke onstage I could barely see the performers.
(clear disagreement here)

oh wow. escXtra disagrees^

21:15 15 Russia
The twins are standing on a seesaw at the start, and they still have their hairs mixed. The camera work is really good, and the girls look really beautiful. This was a rather poor performance vocally, because the girls are completely out of key in many parts, and is their worst vocal performance in the past two weeks!

Your review seems completely different then what I've heard elsewhere...you seem much more postive

Oikotimes just seems positive/indifferent to the song/performance but no mentions of being off key or anything bad.....escxtra is just being a bitch I guess xshrug

Olivier: After the French twins, here are the Russian ones. I found this song a bit old fashioned, and the girl’s look does not help to be honest. It’s very well performed and the staging is quite sophisticated, even if it’s a bit too mechanical (like soviet gymnastics). The girls are great performers and deserve a good raking (not a very high though). But unfortunately they will unfairly suffer from being Russian. (and some booing prove me right).
Stefan: No booing before start of Russian performance? I am really wondered. Girls are looking so cute and innocent. Remember that this is a SONG festival, and you should only judge a country here by a song and a performance. In my opinion this should be in top 5.

Eurovisionary who has been very negative about Russia in general makes no mention about bad vocals either xshrug

We are in a bit of a bad habit here with the worst songs for me. I don't get why this has so many fans. Musically I find it very weak, and I can't see this winning. Russia usually scores well, and despite the political situation going on, this will probably do a lot better than I had imagined, but no top5.

The shock value if they won would be incredible. It's such a tight year, imagine if all the favourites cancel each other out and Russia sneaks through and wins it all? xyes

I would really love for that to happen but unfortunately that sounds too good to be true :(...there's just too much going against them :(

I see the jury automatically voting them low regardless of how they actually performed and the only thing keeping them out of the bottom 5 is the televote....a similar situation to 2011 xshrug

Their lowest result ever is 17th and the betting currently has them 18th and it would REALLY hurt to see the twins have Russia's lowest result ever when they don't deserve it ....any other year this would have easily been top 5

I'm praying for at least a 2009/2010 type result xpray....anything worse would upset me and anything better would be a thrill xpray

xlol Now that you say it, this scenario doesn't even seem that implausible at all... Come to think of it, it may even be possible for... nevermind, She has already won us over in every possible way.

You aren't seriously wanting a Russian victory are you?

No I want an Austrian, Norwegian or Swedish (realistic wishes) victory. The Netherlands would be very deserved as well. The troll in me would love to see the melt down here if Russia won but you're right, I wouldn't seriously like to go to Russia next year with the current things going on in that country. I want the sisters to do well though.
