by the Polish people in Poland (that's where Polish people live)
I love how people claim Russia sends crap every year as if it was a fact
People claiming Shine is dated and then support San Marino or Portugal and many others
Many song themes are cheesy, corny, tacky if representing Russia but if the same represents another country then its perfectly fine
People claiming they do nothing but gimmicks to disguise poor songs and then support Ukraine
Apparently its okay to vote for your neighbor as long as its not a vote for Russia....notice how its ONLY Russia that gets booed when it receives top points but its hardly ever Ukraine or even Azerbaijan
Apparently Russia deserves to get booed just cause their one of the "guaranteed" qualifiers who always qualify no matter what yet no one ever does it for the other "guaranteed" ones
It's pretty clear most people just want just want an excuse to trash Russia so their pulling stuff out of their ass...why not just admit biased against the country and be done with it instead of being hypocrites :?
Yes, Russia and Portugal are both dated - but at least Portugal's entries are more authentic - native languages, traditional music... I hate the fact Russia has to rely on imported sounds/songwriters for a song - I'm sure with such a huge population, there must be someone willing to write music in Russia!
As for the booing, whilst it's immature, I'm sure Russia's not the only country to be booed lately (wasn't Armenia booed too one day? And of course Iceland 2006 but for different reasons).
I'm one person who criticizes Russia not for the sake of trashing Russia because surely there's nothing to gain out of that, but I just find their entries to be very ordinary and yet they are highly rewarded (IN MY OPINION) when they are no different to other countries who flop with similar entries. (2013, for instance... we've heard similar ballads over & over again, yet Russia managed fifth, whilst other ballads flopped - the Netherlands 2005 wasn't too much of a different ballad yet it failed, and no, I'm not a fan of that one either), or when they receive enough points to beat other countries, (2004, painful vocal performance yet votes from ex-USSR countries pushed it 11th place above other entries).
That's what I think anyway... nothing about Russia as a country or something.

but I like Shine too Russia at 2009 did great with Mamo but Belgium with Mother stayed in the semi
Believe and Never Let You Go had gimmicks things but they came 1st and 2nd

I think that none said that they deserved to get booed cause they qualified-maybe- with the block votes
Russia is my fave country in and out of esc but they can't be always perfect although this year they are

I think Russia doesn't care about Eurovision anymore. It kinda stopped caring after Dima Bilan's win.

I don't think i've actually wrote here yet my opinions on the girls performance.
I thought they were great. The sisters really did shine on the night. The only thing that spoilt it slightly for me was Rui arriving with his cheap fan. I mean.. what were they thinking? That seesaw looked so snazzy but it needed someone to come out and manually release a tacky two piece fan that didn't even seamlessly join together properly. It looked dreadful.
But otherwise a magical performance and I was disgusted when they were booed.
