Strange France are opening the final... it's not really captivating, is it?

Georgia and Norway have great draws - even Azerbaijan. Denmark not placed #17 but almost - surefire winner now!

What makes me sad is that after all, it's song contest, not just song presentation from different countries. And wheter we like it or not, the order has some significant importance to the results. Statistics are ruthless and tell the difference between performing 2, 4 and 17 or 19. It should be random by draw, not set by producers. I understand care about viewing figures and advertising but then again if Eurovision is going to become more about pure ratings than it's specific ceremonial and purpose, better remove the voting, make it friday-saturday with countries alphabetically just presenting themselves. But who would watch that without all the drama and excitement. I just don't want any space for favouring anybody to organisers or producers even if non-deliberate, no matter if it's Azerbaijan, Sweden, Denmark, Serbia or Russia.

UK's position in the final is not a bad one. Yes okay I and many others would've preferred something after #20 but that's not always a good idea.

1. This year the favourites: Denmark, Azerbaijan, Georgia, Norway, Ukraine and Italy are all performing between 18 and 25, so if Bonnie was there, she'd be immediately overshadowed by the favourites.

2. Coming after Romania is a huge contrast

3. Late positions don't always mean top 10, look at 2012 for example:

DRAW/POSITION

20th - 8th
21st - 21st
22nd - 13th
23rd - 19th
24th - 3rd
25th - 15th
26th - 11th

So actually only 2 countries from after 20 finished in the top 10. In the first half last year, 5 countries finished in the top 10.

No! SVT knew that won't win and they wanted to open the Final with some style! The Frech sing is a gread classy blues so what song could beat that in opening the Contest? It would be either or , but they probably think has a small chance to win!
