Romania has opted to use a national final for all of their Eurovision participations since 1993, so today’s announcement comes as little surprise. Who will we see as the successors of Paula and Ovi? We’ll find out in a few months!

As long as they don't dare stray from their zone of 12th/13th place it's all cool. I've become far too accustomed to seeing them in the bottom right for the first half of the vote then suddenly shooting up to the bottom left. It is pivotal to my sanity and well being that this doesn't change.

Ooooo I'm not sure about that. I'll have to give it a lot of thought, and consult the oracle to see if I'm ready.

+1 - I´m also a huge fan of these Romanian Dance-music-style.

Romania: Selecţia Naţională on 8 March Romania: Selec

Who will fly the Romanian flag in Vienna?
Today the Romanian broadcaster TVR has announced further details regarding its national selection for the upcoming Eurovision Song Contest.
Artists and songwriters who are interested in entering Selecţia Naţională can submit their entry between 26 January and 8 February. After that, a professional jury will pick 12 songs that will compete in the national final – the full line-up will be presented on 12 February.

The national final show itself will take place on 8 March. It will be broadcast live on TVR.

I see this year TVR requires also romanian lyrics if the song it's in english or any other language.
