Wait, I just noticed this was created in 2012. But how can a thread for the 2013 entry be made in 2012 and there are only a few posts for this year yet the last post was 27th April 2012. I'm sure I seen loads of posts for this year like those posts about Romania being in the winning slot a year in advance.
Caught the attention of Washington post
"Romania’s Cezar, who resembles a Dracula reborn as a high-pitched vocalist, is apparently a reputable opera singer, but is attempting a crossover opera pop number with techno beats and pyrotechnics"
Cezar won't win. It's a shame. But he's in the final and that's a victory in itself. And he has the chance to improve the performance yet again - No disabled earphones or Out of tune. He can do it! A top-5 placement is not impossible. But a top-5 in the bottom list could happen as well. Argh... I can't wait to see what Europe thinks!
On the official Eurovision youtube channel, Cezar's performance has 201,000 views! This is about two and a half times the amount of the favourite Denmark which has 88,000 views (plus they had a two day head start). I Predict a magnificent storm tonight. Even if he doesn't win, this topic is going to have a lot of disgruntled people in it when the show finishes. Cezar fans, hold up your splendid shields a ready.
He said he was honoured to be in the studio, and that he was an idol of both Malena Ernman and Loreen. Loreen left the studio and then Cezar came in, he was a bit chocked to see her in the studio and said he was VERY honored to even be that close to her.
Quite good interview, he also said that he was "used" to be taken as "unusual" in the competition.
I would like to wish Cezar "the voice" the best of luck tonight in the contest. We know he is very popular on our forums, winner of the Expert Panel game and a the Big Brother contest but anything can happen tonight. I hope his popularity shines through once a more and he a gives us a the fans a performance we can be proud of. I love Cezar, true gentlemen. Good luck my Romanian friends.
