I hope these mysterious superstitions continue and Romania wins.. the trollery would be so delicious. I'm sure SVT and Christer Bjorkman would be delighted:rolleyes:

Will all my huge respect to all Romanian users of this forum and my friends - the song of Cezar is crap of me. I can't understand how this song qualified to the final. Just suppose that :ro: got high points from jury for his countertenor and also got a gay support in televoting

Sorry? I am still trying to understand why gay people would like this more than strange... sorry, straight people. I guess you think Cezar is sexy, but there were other very sexy performancers in other entries which didn't qualify.

I'm dying to see the televote/jury split on this one. Who voted for it? Is Romanian diaspora really that strong that they'll qualify anything?

I don't think so, the Romanian diaspora voting is strong only in Spain, Moldova and Italy, but only Spain voted last night. So, I think it's unfair to "blame" diaspora only.

People will put the Romanian entry into the same category as Ireland 2008, Estonia 2008, Portugal 2011 etc. When you watch programs making fun of the contest Romania is one of the first clips you will find. That is what I mean by that.

You really can't compare Cezar with Dustin and Kreisaraadio. Maybe the staging and the songs but not even taht! Cezar has a great voice! If Bonnie Tyler Patricia Kaas would've sanged "Leto svet" would you still consider it a joke entry?

After years of being robbed by political votes (only Romanian diaspora voted for us), we have all the righ to troll hard this year. So why not a pop-opera, a bad song with an epic frame? :) In my opinion 90%of the songs were mediocre, so at least I appreciate those who had a complex stage performance. When we watch a presentation on stage, we have to understand what we are watching.

we don't have a diaspora in Moldova, Moldovans are Romanians like me :)

yes, if Bonnie Tyler would have shown up with random signs singing "Das ist sonderlich" it would have still be a joke entry :D.
Just because someone has a good voice doesn't mean they can't have a joke entry. And I'm not saying that trying to be mean, just look at it from this angle. Everytime there is a program making fun of the contest, you know this clip will be played among others of course. This is why I said it is hurting the contest's reputation, just like the Turkey, Leto Svet any many others fall under the same category.

This wasn't completely without flaws yesterday, and Cezar wasn't at his absolute best. Still, it was mad enough to make an impact. I believe it will now get lost in the right side of the scoreboard.

Yes! He is a great voice! He will sing in the opening of Andrea Bocelli's concert! You can't listen to his voice on this song because pop-opera is new for him, but if you would go to the opera and listen he is amazing. And yeah, maybe he isn't showing his potential on this son but he definetly has an amazing voice compared to Dustin, Rambo Amadeus, Kreisaraadio, LT United and others.

I was sure that this was gonna qualify. It was the strangest performance of the night. Good or bad, it certainly made an impact...

Just love this interview. He is such an honest open person not afraid to express his feelings. He might sound arrogant at times, but maybe with the right to be so. He is very in touch and quite realistic to all that's happening around his song, to audience's reaction. I am getting more and more into his vision and really appreciate the work he's doing.
