Again, no Charlotte please, I feel she wouldn't be a good host at all.

Oh my god!? How can you all say that Sarah was entertaining last year when you don't even understand the language!? I hate her so much. Anyone but her, please. She would ruin everything for me.

^ I do understand the language and I found her really funny. She's the best choice for me! Especially if she pulls a Lynda Woodruff!

Hmm there were rumours in June that SVT wants Måns Zelmerlöw & Sarah Dawn Finer and Helena Paparizou will be ESC 2013 hosts

I thought Sarah Dawn Finer was great as a host and I would love to have her back. Lena Ph would be cool too, she's so random and funny.

I really hope Charlotte Perrelli isn't one of the hosts. Can't stand that scarecrow.

Maybe the Eurovision hosts are likely to be the same as in Melodifestivalen next year...

This isn't the opinion of the majority I'm afraid
I remember that back in 2004, she was announced as the worst host ever by the ESC fans.

What did she do to have such a reputation?

I don't know, because at that time I wasn't paying much attention to the hosts, but rather the songs.
I discovered later, that she was given this title by ESC fans. She probably didn't know how to host an event like this, and was either boring or made a lot of stupid mistakes or her English was crappy

Poor girl! :( Hosting Eurovision must require lots of training: you've got to be funny without being clumsy, speak English and learn sentences and countries' names in French, still you have to tell all the voting procedures and stuff while the show is live and broadcasted in whole Europe and so on. Plus, like every participant, they are part of the country's image in front of millions of viewers. So they must be really under pressure.

That's why Sweden must be wise. I liked the balance of the german hosts: there was a comedian to entertain, a TV presenter who looked more serious to be in the green room, and Stefan Raab, who wasn't essential but hey it's the trend to have 3 hosts instead of 2.

That's the point. Some countries maybe don't have the right people to host an event such as Eurovision. I believe that Sweden shouldn't have major problems with this, since the country is experienced with hosting ESC, and they have a lot of entertaining people, I believe.

Re: Possible Hosts for 2013

I think the worst part with all the recent Eurovision hosts, is when they're trying to be funny and spontaneous but it's so painfully obvious how rehearsed and scripted it is. And the jokes aren't even funny. I'd rather have hosts who made no witty remarks whatsoever, than have Baku repeated.
