I don't agree. I love the semi-final system, because we get to judge 40+ songs AND (most) awful crap gets eliminated before the Big Final (aka Montenegro 2012 or Ireland 2008).

Totally agree. How anyone can say no to MORE songs is beyond me :)

But I do agree that there's a limit for Eurovision aswell, a technical mostly. It shouldn't get too big for its own good. The 46 limit (or what it is?) is good.

Hmm, maybe this thread should be moved to "Loreen's loft"?

It was already hinted that :sl: will stay in 2013. Our ESC commentator (Andrej Hofer) said in one of the interviews that he thinks that it would be good if sent a more contemporary song next year (something like this).

Nothing really official, but I'm sure that we'll stay! :D

On that basis then the UK will also be back next year ;)

small chances

Latvia won't withdraw while Estonia and Lithuania are doing well. Lithuania won't withdraw because they are doing well and they are the only Baltic country that has not won Eurovision. Estonia won't withdraw because we are doing well and Eurovision is still very popular over here.
