Lithuania's participation is not surprising at all. A few years ago their prime minister said that their near future goal is to win Eurovision.

Well, if that's the goal they need to start sending entries which are atleast somewhat good

And btw,I strongly dislike Lithuania as eurovision country. For me their best entry is 2009 and I would say for it that it's nothing special,so :? I don't love any of their entries.

And btw,I think Lithuania is pretty overrated in last years.2011 - if that deserved to pass in final ! OMG  , 2012 - 14th place xshrug NONO

Because Sweden is friends with everyone this year will be the one with most participants. Thats for shore.

 in Sweden's dreams...

I can already make a list of countries that doesn't really like Sweden at all in this contest...

Sweden, in their deluded mind, think that they are friends with everyone, but that's not really reality... as a matter of fact Sweden's actions currently is making us enemies, not friends. People/countries doesn't like when a small country with its own problems is pointing fingers at them and try to act all "Mother Theresa" on them

I agree and feel the same. What I'm afraid of is that year after year Lithuania is doing better in the ranking while their songs aren't good imo.

Like Denmark - if we win in 2013. I can already make a list of countries, who not will participate in DK.

Even though some countries may not like Denmark, I'm pretty sure that they wouldn't withdraw if you hosted the contest. It just doesn't work like that.

And yes, you have to ignore Azerbaijan - Armenia, that's a totally special case. :D

They hate each other in a other way. I mean - the easten dosen't like Denmark, Sweden and Norway because we are rich. I think

So Lithuania has not confirmed 100%?

Hmm how come? It states that still no word on Eurovision ha been said...

I agree. San Remo always existed, it doesn't mean that they'll pick someone for Eurovision once again.
Let's wait and see even if I'd be surprised to know that they'd withdraw.
