COMPETING THEMES (177)

1. All Around The World: a real-world country is chosen by the host. All artists competing in this event must be from the chosen country. In the case of groups, the majority of people in the group must be from the country. The song can be in any language.

2. AATW type of Spinoff but with NSC nations

3. AI Cover Spinoff

4. Covers & Remixes 5: everyone has to send cover or remixed version of a song previously entered in the main contest, including the original versions of songs whose covers or remixes were entered in NSC.

5. Major/Minor: songs changed from major into minor key (and vice versa)

6. NSC ESC Classic: any entry from any year allowed

7. NSC NF

8. Oldies: tba, the host can decide the timeframe

Oh... I would have voted for Covers & Remixes if it was NSC and not ESC.

After application deadline, every participant will randomly receive the name of another participant. Everyone will now have to try to find 10 possible song suggestions for this participant and will send them to the host which will forward them.
After all is done, everyone have to choose an entry out of the 10 suggestions she/he received.

You have to make good suggestions to the other, because your result will consists out of the points you made with the choosen entry plus 50% of the points, your suggestion made.
No one can vote for the suggestion he made and for the entry he choosed for himself.

I don't think I ever saw the original post where baking spinoff was suggested, so I have no idea what it's about. Do we have to actually bake something? Because there are SO many issues and exploitable loopholes in that concept.

I am afraid it confused people when we had both the google survey and the poll. As for Baking, despite the stinking cute idea, I won't get to take part in it because I practise raw veganism. As it is a picture based spin-off, however, we could perhaps have the second most voted spin-off started as well? If I remember well, when we had Looking Through My Window it was more of an alternative fun game with pictures, and we had another spin-off going on at the same time. Not to disrespect Anselm's scrumptios idea, but I think Baking is also in a way a side-spinoff. So why not have Baking + Live Performances 2 #together next?

The poll up there has mixed results from last poll we had and new ones... so pretty sure Live Performances 2 didn't have as many votes. I know that because I didn't vote for Baking and Songs that got -75%s in old NSCs in any poll. :)

Ok, how about this:

We start Baking spinoff as a side contest.

Then, get rid of the current poll on this page, start a new one from scratch, with the same options as the one on Google Docs, so everyone gets a chance to vote. Then we do the winner as a regular spinoff.

?

Just start the spinoff already, I would like to join, if only someone tells me what means with "baking"? I suppose it is songs that mentions baking or different kinds of pastries and cakes?
