COMPETING THEMES (177)

1. All Around The World: a real-world country is chosen by the host. All artists competing in this event must be from the chosen country. In the case of groups, the majority of people in the group must be from the country. The song can be in any language.

2. AATW type of Spinoff but with NSC nations

3. AI Cover Spinoff

4. Covers & Remixes 5: everyone has to send cover or remixed version of a song previously entered in the main contest, including the original versions of songs whose covers or remixes were entered in NSC.

5. Major/Minor: songs changed from major into minor key (and vice versa)

6. NSC ESC Classic: any entry from any year allowed

7. NSC NF

8. Oldies: tba, the host can decide the timeframe

I want Karaoke ESC 2014 to be the spinoff after the next one... when all songs are known and the karaoke versions are out :mrgreen:

Pfft, we were supposed to have ESC 2014 Karaoke one as well. :p Should we do a normal one now then and then have the ESC 2014 special as soon as the Karaoke versions are released?

Or we could go with the second choice from the poll (which is tied between Genres, AATW and ESC NF) them have the ESC 2014 Karaoke as the karaoke edition... unless anyone is really against that idea. Whatever - I'm just glad my suggestion won!!! :D

Please say that we will change the rules of NSC ESC 2014 this year. With the limited amount of songs it's REALLY unfair just going for "fastest one to confirm get's the entry". I really fought for this rule last year but then suddenly the spinoff started without a poll or anything. SO please make a poll about it this year.

I propose that we scrap the spinoff (it makes like no sense anyway) and replace it with some official NSC ESC 2014 voting which would not be an official spinoff, but would be pretty much the same (without chosing countries and stuff)
