In the time where Eurovision has irreversibly damaged its brand, this result fits with the idiocracy that permeated the night. Makes me puke. Call me pretentious, elitist, whatever...this has too much quality for the show. The shock value and agendas can only take you so far but quality will always prevail beyond years. From the bottom of my heart, thank you Gate and all the Norwegians for showcasing your culture.xheartxheart

I think this is the third year in a row my favorite got absolutely decimated in the final. (or, in the case of 2022, the semi-final)

When I saw Norway's semi-final video only getting more views than Denmark, I was worried.

It's a disappointment of course - Norway was my favourite, and I voted for Gåte.

Still, if you qualify for the final, it's not a fiasco. Finishing last in the final is not the same as finishing last in the contest.

This is too good for Eurovision. We Will probably some boring english pop next year which wiøl get a better result sadly.

This is is why many great artists don't participate in Eurovision. Common folk don't appreciate stuff like this enough.

Denmark was the biggest supporter of Norway in the semi. The televoters gave Norway 8 points. That's actually a little better than I had expected since the Danish jury gave Gåte zero points in the Norsk Melodi Grand Prix.

Norway is one of the countries where this is a minor problem. Norway hasn't trouble attracting strong artists to the contest.

I was very shocked to see Norway being so unpopular in the public vote. I thought for sure we would have another 2019 situation on our hands where juries hate it but the public come in with a ton of votes... but no. It wasn't one of my favorite songs but I thought the performance was kind of cool.

It will be a bigger problem now, especially artists who are making a bit less commercial music like Gåte.

I am getting more and more upset, as this is a song that is in norwegian, and is a song that represents our culture in such a great way. I think that deserved a way better result than this. And it is bad for the competition that stuff like this is not rewarded more results-wise. Would make it more diverse.
