I can say that the song for next edition has already been chosen! I've been waiting for it to be released since the snippet was revealed in September, and it finally dropped today!
On another note, what did you think of the winner of the national final? Was it the song you expected?

My third favourite of the four so a smidge disappointed it wasn't one of my top two, but it's still a fabulous entry! Hope Bruce does you proud

The entry for WorldVision 80 has been selected (and will be sent shortly). To be completely truthful, I haven't looked for songs for this contest in a few months, so my song discovery ability is rather lacking at the moment. 
Since the deadline for the next edition is close, I've chosen to send one of my all-time favorite entries from the 1980s (which actually was not influenced by last edition's winner). I've nearly sent this song to several editions in the past, and I hope you all enjoy it as much as I do.
I'll try to send a more contemporary entry for WV81.
