I think "Edge of Glory" or "Alejandro" won, which I actually believe are the two that can do extremely well for you at the contest. Sorry I didn't vote in your NF. There's only one song from the eight here I don't like (one of the new songs) and I don't think that has won anyway. I was bad with keeping track of time. I sat down to do a bunch of NFs one night, then realizing yours had finished before the others. I think you're going to kick butt with pretty much whatever one is selected.

Thank you to everyone who voted for Lady Gaga in WorldVision 71!
I've always loved Lady Gaga's work, and Alejandro is one of her best songs (though Edge of Glory and Marry the Night are tied for my favorite of her work
); listening to her discography in preparation for the national final was a very pleasant experience for me.
The entry was definitely not the most inspired or most original choice this edition, but I hope you all enjoyed listening to the song.

On to next edition: I have no idea who I'm going to send... I think I might send a song from the national final I was originally going to have for WorldVision 71 before I decided to send Lady Gaga. I don't have enough time to hold a national final over the next week (I have finals week until Thursday 15/12) so an internal selection is almost certain.

Welcome back to New York City for the Northeastern United States' national final for WorldVision 75! Since our last national final for the Northeastern United States last October – when the greatest hits of Lady Gaga's discography competed against each other for a spot in WorldVision and the only loser was me (since I couldn't send them all ) – we have had a rather terrible record in WorldVision highlighted by two non-participations. However, not all is doom and gloom; due to our glorious International Jury placing in last edition's semifinal, we've decided to celebrate by sending our first artist from New Jersey! (It's been more than two years here, and I seriously can't believe I haven't done it before )
Bruce Springsteen is an American singer-songwriter best known for his work with the E Street Band. Springsteen is widely known for his brand of poetic lyrics, Americana, working class and sometimes political sentiments centered on his native New Jersey, his distinctive voice, and his lengthy and energetic stage performances.
Springsteen's recordings have included both commercially accessible rock albums and more somber folk-oriented works. His most successful studio albums, Born to Run (1975) and Born in the U.S.A. (1984), showcase a talent for finding grandeur in the struggles of daily American life.
