Yes, they should send her next year with a Swedish written dated cheese ballad about peace in English... then they'll qualify for sure

Of course it will  xrofl2

Seriously though, Nina by herself with something just as modern as this BUT less over the top visually would be wonderful

Actually, I support them if they withdraw, in fact I support if all ex-Yugos decided to withdraw, ESC has lost it imo.

I love the song and I've got the feeling Montenegro could've qualified without the space-suits. It all seemed a bit over the top, and from what I've gathered from non-ESC-fan fora, the reaction could pretty much be summed up to: "wtf?" No one could look past the visual delivery of the song, and that's a huge problem 'cause they were all terriffic. I just wish they had performed the song more close to what we saw in the music-video.

As much as I love the montenegrin entry I'm afraid they outplayed themselves.

I agree the space suites ruined the whole performance and maybe they should of used 3 more ppl maybe on stage like a dj or somthing else other then that they should of qualified.

Finally they choose a good song, and still they can't seem to make it?
Both me and my friends voted for Igranka, though it isn't even close to sounding like any song I've ever liked before

Are you surprised? In a contest where chesse relic ballads that no one in the "real world" care for other than in south-eastern Asia are successful, then modern music especially in native language was bound to fail :(

I also voted for it...

You seem to be quite disillusioned about Eurovision at the moment.

I don't think this did well in televoting either (except in ex-yu countries). I think most casual viewers would dislike this. And I considered pressing the "mute" button while this one was being performed actually.
Well said CypriotGirl. I'd love to know how many viewers who appreciate decent songs did press the mute button (or did something else such as go to the toilet or make a cup of coffee) during Montenegro's performance.

Nice one juries. Montenegro was a disgrace to this contest with that pathetic excuse for "music" and the semi-finals are in place to make sure crap like that doesn't make it.
I endorse what you say QwaarJet. I've said this somewhere else but I'll say it here to avoid cross-referencing. Montenegro's entry was a mish mash of rap and thrash metal. What was the significance of the astronaut costumes? This was the one country I definitely didn't want to qualify; thank God it's now been eliminated. I'm appalled and disgusted that Montenegro chose this utter garbage to represent their country in the first place. This sort of thing doesn't belong in Eurovision, full stop! It shouldn't have been in last night's semi-final, let alone the final. I think the EBU should prohibit this sort of entry by any country in future.

Had Montenegro qualified (against my wishes) I would have seen it as a disgrace and insult to the grand final.

Yeah, instead we got such magnificent entries like Russia, Lithuania and Belarus in the final... ;)
Well at least Russia, Lithuania and Belarus were better than Montenegro. I felt everyone else was better than Montenegro. In my opinion Montenegro was the worst song of last night. I'm dying to see the results after Saturday's final, I pray to God that they came last with nul points (juries and televoting combined). Okay, Lithuania wasn't bad, but I wasn't overly keen on it (I thought Austria, Croatia and Cyprus were better than Lithuania), but even I felt Lithuania was 1000 times better than Montenegro's inappropriate garbage.

Russia was one of the countries I most wanted to qualify, a beautiful ballad (i.e. decent song), much better than their entry of last year, and much better than Montenegro's trash this year.

I've noticed a few people have said Montenegro deserved the place the "comparatively inferior" entry from Belarus took. Well actually I thought Belarus was much better than Montenegro. Belarus had Alyona's arm movements and the men's well-choreographed dance routine in time with the accompanying beat. Belarus was one of the countries I most wanted to qualify and was so glad it reached the final. By the way I voted for Belarus (and also Croatia).

As for those of you who have said this is the 201x decade (call it the tens, teeens or whatever) and that you want modern nightclub music, no thanks! Do we really want the likes of Gangnam Style in the ESC? I don't think so.

Well, I wouldn't expect anyone finding beauty in that fake cheese to agree with me... so it's just a confirmation that our taste are the complete opposite

Montenegro was the most contemporary song this year for me. Even if some members here would disagree with me, i strongly believe we need songs like this in ESC.

Well, people want ESC to be a dated ballad-fest again like it once was, totally unattached to actual music and without any credibility.

Huh?? xrofl3 xcrazy How can one confuse thrash metal with dubstep is beyond me.
The "thrash metal" bits I was referring to were the non-rap vocals, i.e. some strange and weird style of "singing" (if whatever it was can seriously be called singing); to me about the closest I could identify it as was thrash metal. Is dubstep really what that bit is called? Until I read recent posts on this thread this morning I had never even heard of dubstep.

I'm mad mostly because it confirmed my fears about where ESC is heading once again :( Not because I'm that surprised by the results, because I'm not...

You're from the UK and never heard of dub-step??? :? But then again you like the Russian entry so you really must be unattached to modern music in general...
