Or force Kantera to go which is a win win xbow
Forcing anybody to anything is not really it, but i rather meant withdraw the song not the entire participation, so yes then there should be a replacement song imo.
But we're not there (yet)

Usually I dont give 0 points. But this deserves it. I cant find anything positive to tell about this performance.

Just watching back the full performance this morning, it was a hot mess that is clearly designed for a certain group from the euro-fan community. The gym ball bouncing and fan swooshing in the final chorus was ridiculously camp. A spectacle for sure, but definitely won't be anything that is taken very seriously. I can just imagine most viewers going "well that was fun, but won't be voting for it..."

And Mariana is trying to sell the crap out of it in a very Destiny way with her vocals, but she needs to have a little more control I reckon to get it over the line. Still, I can't deny that this sticks in my head which any good ESC entry should. So this a :7: for now.

Girl when I said it's a car crash I meant the performance.
Now Heaven Sent would slay, while this might finish last in SF once again.

Hm thats a bit of a strong take imo, i wouldnt call people who like this or find it funny tasteless or not having decency. It's not that deep.
I didn‘t. I was talking about his opinion on the song. Don’t overinterpret me.

În dutch we will make jokes about a vierkant or kantklossen, also in Dutch cunt definitely isn't the worst swear word. We swear with diseases.

Isaak hat to take out the really harmless word „shit“. And people are really discussing if there are worse insulta than the c-word…

According to, Eurovision.tv, "Kant" means 'singing' and it's a glorious comeback for the Maltese language in Eurovision! ;)

Why would the EBU censor "singing"?

If the word sounded nothing like the C-word I agree, but it doesn’t in this case.

It’s so obvious they might as well have a sign saying it’s the C-word on stage. It’s been done with the subtlety of a brick in your face and stiletto in the groin for added measure.

What I will say is that Malta have got people talking about their song - which is something for a change - but I’d rather we stay clear of ‘pretend swearing’ in songs when the true intention is clear as day…

I think Miriana is a good singer and honestly the Kant/Cunt joke makes me laugh (yeah I laugh at the dumbest shit) but I just think the song is weak ? Like the drop doesn't really give me anything ? Maybe it'll grow on me

It would be funny to see her qualify but I don't think that'll happen

:4: for now but it has some guilty pleasure potential

Also I hope she's okay after that carcrash :(

@Ted Talks @Sammy I'm 100% with you on this one, though.
It's hilarious that Eurovision.tv (officials) try to make it seem that "Kant" only refers to "singing" and that they are advertising it as a comeback of the Maltese language in the competition.
Seriously, I can't stop laughing but apparently that's the narrative they try to follow/spread.

The defence really is laughable. I get they’re in PR spin mode, but even so.

It’s so eye roll worthy, it’s unbelievable

It does make me wonder with people if a song which is basically using the C-word is perfectly acceptable at a family friendly event like Eurovision, then what exactly would cross the line for them?
