This Time isn't by any means the best song Lithuania could have picked, but it's not bad, especially now they've gone less full-on country with its presentation. For all the criticisms Eurovizijos gets, they had a decent selection to choose from.
My favourite version is Monika's. It's a cheesy song and Vaidas is a cheesy performer; together his version stinks. On the other end of the scale, Mia seems to be too cool for it. She doesn't commit to the song in the same way as Monika. Monika gives a bright and cheerful performance and doesn't succumb to the mawkish sentimentality of the song. I hope she wins.

Dangerous (SOS) could have been my favourite entry of the year with Monika singing it. This Time is only acceptable if Monika and Vaidas do a duet, however I don't want MIA to not return next year because of that.

I am hooked on this.
So strange that countries I never usually care for in Eurovision are sending or will likely be sending such quality (unless something totally absurd happens in Latvia and Estonia)

I know right? This is like the first time I like a song from Lithuania ever, and I mean ever. Usually it's the same countries for me bringing my favourite songs to Eurovision, but this year good songs come from really unexpected countries and I love it. I really wanted to like countries like
or , but they never gave me anything to like, but this year they finally give me songs that I really really like.
They have to send Vaidas Baumila, he has by far the best delivery. And with that I mean they need to send him alone. I might be in the minority here but the girl kind of makes the song weaker for me, her vocals just aren't good. If they do this can be in my final top 10 for the first time ever

DRAMA. Mia says 'This Time' is old fashioned, and doesn't like it. Vaidas answers saying that she should listen to current music and recommends her 'Mumford & Sons'.

Apparently Vaidas' Google account was hacked and made him post some immature comments to negative feedback under the Monika and Vaidas duet video. They were deleted soon after.
Haha, I love MIA. I don't want her to win (though maybe I'll be happy if she does) - she should come back next year with a much better song than this.

The first time I ever heard of Vaidas was in 2012. I don't think he had released any recent music in a while at the time. Anyway, he was in the news for saying something rude about Beissoul, who was getting a lot of attention for the first time in the NF that year, and the jury for advancing him to the next round (and there's nothing wrong with giving an opinion about the results of a public show, but I remember what it was and it was more outright rude than just critical) The reason this is funny is because the NF format has gone to hell since then and Vaidas doesn't have anything better to do than get dressed up and ordered around in this NF now...
