I just finished listening to yesterday´s songs... some decent songs there :-)

My ranking:

1. Vudis ir Samanta Tina - Hey Chaki-Mama
2. Ugne Smile - Call to you mum
3. Vincentas Linkevicius - Dance the night
4. Andrius Pojavis - Something
5. Valerija Iljinaite - Kate's morning at 10:08
6. Gabrielius Vagelis - Sacrifice
7. Saules Briolai - Loreen
8. Julija Jegorova - I'll carry you

I guess if Saulės broliai sits down and analyse the lyrics, hopefully with someone good at these things. Rewrite the lyrics to be for example a tale of a devoted Loreen fan, the result could be a quite sweet song with great potential. :)

I'm not sure they have thought the lyrics ready yet. It could also be a cultural thing where their meaning gets misunderstood. They cannot keep the current lyrics though BMO.

Well, I don't really like joke entries from Lithuania, but I caught myself singing "Loreen" quite a few times today. :oops:

I still prefer "Sacrifice" though. xheart

Hmm, I guess LRT decided to put all the bad singers in the same group? It was quite painful but nevertheless here is my ranking

There is a rumor that Aistė Pilvelytė send song again. If I am not mistaken, it would be 8th her entry.

Okay, cause for a moment I thought you were implying that I prefer English songs over native ones so I'm happy to hear that wasn't the case.

Valery and Julija both are terrible singers with really bad entries, I sure hope the won't move on.

The funniest thing is that Julija actually won the Lithuanian edition of The Voice.

I guess that she is a good singer, but something just went wrong in her performance. She wanted to show everything she can do with her voice and it was too much to handle.

Vudis ir Samanta Tina - „Hey chiki - mama" => Bad. A song that I cannot listen until the end, I listened only the verses and a part of the chorus, and turned it off... SOOC

Vincentas Linkevičius - „Dance the night" => Bad. Very bad... SOOC

Gabrielius Vagelis - „Sacrifice" => Very good song, sounds fresh and not dated, and good voice. And not a bad English accent at all. xup

Ugne Smile - „Call to your mum" => This sounds very weird. The melody is a mess. This girl could do better with a better song! She sounds like a hybrid of Avril Lavigne and Lena... xthink

Saulės Broliai - „Loreen" => I like the melody of this song, and the title is clever. But I don't like his appearance. And the lyrics are very silly. It could speak about a girl named Loreen, and that he loves her, not "I wanna be your son"! xrofl2

Valery - „Taip noriu vėl" => It has some nice elements, I like her voice and she is very beautiful. But I don't like the song overall. It sounds weird and the melody is a mess... Too bad, I like the language.

Andrius Pojavis - „Something" => Ubermeh song. Silly lyrics. Bad accent. The melody is not bad. And his appearance is interesting. But not a positive feeling overall...

Julija Jegorova - „I'll carry you" => Not bad. Good voice, good verses, not so good chorus and during the chorus she was out of tune. And this ruins it a bit... But this song has potential, unlike some others that are just bad. It could be fixed to be more catchy, just like her vocals as well, because she seems to be a good singer after all.

Have there been any debate or reactions in Lithuania about their lyrics?

Well, I think there are better songs in other 4 rounds. And about their lyrics - nope.
