2007: Don't get me started, there was not much about this year that I liked. The semi-final with 28(!) participants felt like a bloodbath at the cornucopia, in a bad way. The hosts we're great though.
2008: This year was great and bad. They could really catch the excitement when they would announce the qualifiers, the stage was great, great atmosphere and a lot of great songs and stageshows! Too bad the winner was awful, Greece deserved to win.
2009: The stage was too big and the hosts we're really bad. Norway killed the excitement in the final, but overall there was a lot of great songs and the interval act was amazing.
2010: It was good, they had the best atmosphere so far imo, although the stage was great some artists could've done better with some LED (Safura). A great winner, although the first semy had only 3-4 good songs the second semi had about 11.
2011: One of the best years so far, so much excitement during the announcement of qualifiers and the voting, the best stage ever, amazing hosts, great postcards, great logo and good songs. Too bad the winner was '' meh ''.
2012: Great stage, great postcards, bad hosts, too much lightning on the stage and that golden envelope was just stupid. Although this was the year with the best songs, I've never experienced a Eurovision with so many great songs. I liked almost every song in semi 1 and at least half in semi 2. One of the best Eurovisions ever.
2013: Good host, a cute stage and great postcards. The arena was too small though and the show felt a bit unfinished, and they screwed up the voting. Overall there was many good songs and a lot of good stageshows.

I think Malmö had the best logo ever

Whenever that cute butterfly popped up on the tv I was like xlove.
I do agree that the whole concept of the contest last year felt unfinished, but it still brought in some elements that was really good.
Too bad they could not catch that excitement with the qualifiers and the atmosphere that Oslo had.

The butterfly was scary, dark and gloomy....... I felt very uncomfortable with that theme, and it didn't make much sense.

Serbia had a great theme - Confluence of sound.... that made sense and very well translated into the logo....

Colourwise, I liked Finland.... it was very light and fresh.... I loved the map of Europe while announcing the spokespersons of each country.....

Germany's Heartbeat in line with the postcards was the best thing ever....

.... but the best Eurovision moment ever was Norway's interval act and the very exciting voting....

There's not much I liked about last year and Azerbaijan.... 2012 had plenty of good songs though, although out of the good songs only Euphoria scored well.....
2013 was overall meh.....

The voting was not that exciting, I mean, sure it was exciting for a while but you could tell Lena would go home with the victory.

I remember the stage at Moscow. Omg. That arena was damn gigantic! This stage looks good, but I liked the previous years ones more. It feels a bit 'small' on first impressions, but I'm sure on TV it will look amazing with all the fans waving their flags :)

Looks great actually! It seems clear now that they have taken the industrial feel of the arena and carried it on to the stage

At first I did not like the very quadratic feeling all the boxes give. But you are right; this fits into the rest of this industrial building and surroundings! I am sure this will look great; both for the ones watching on site and the ones watching from home.

I'm not impressed. It's just slick technology and geometry, but where are the quirky attributes? Where is the love?

the music theme and the logo are also slick but generic

It looked prominisng in the pictures we've seen earlier but I'm sorry to say I'm not very impressed :( looks like a stage in any tv-show, like X-Factor/Idol etc. Hopefully it will look better in action.

I'm not really feeling the stage. I think I even prefer Düsseldorf's stage to this. I'm not getting any warmth (so to speak) from it. It looks as though it could feel quite distant in relation to the artist/audience harmony.

Gosh what rubbish is coming out of my mouth? I don't even know what i'm writing but I hope you catch the drift of what i'm trying to say. As Sean said it looks quite industrial. Would have been great for if Unheilig was there. Some of the harder hitting songs are gonna get a boost from the coldness, Lithuania especially.
