Yes but if this was true then Italy would be doing this since 2011 but that hasn't happened. I now believe "Grande Amore" is going to do really well in Eurovision, I believe this is the first contender for the win, I'm hoping Latvia will join that list on Sunday when they pick "Love Injected".
Maybe we should rather start debating whether it will be Roma or Milano?
too good for Eurovision
THE BAD
-The Italian language of the song will probably hinder the song a little bit.
Seriously? That's pretty conceit and condescending coming from someone with English mother tongue.
English is not the most beautiful language, it's a lazy slang compared to Italian.
THE GOOD
-The instrumentals have dramatics that are unmatched, which is good.
-On vocals, the sum is greater than the parts.
THE BAD
-The Italian language of the song will probably hinder the song a little bit.
-In a way, the whole song kind of feels unapproachable to me, and it doesn't feel like a Eurovision song.
-The song is also too long, and the question becomes whether or not they can reduce the length of the song and still have it sound good.
THE VERDICT
I'll be honest with you all, I didn't know what to make of the song at first listen (in which I had a cold), so I am judging it after a second listen. While this is a good song, perhaps it is too good for Eurovision. 7 points
