I don't know what to make of this. It's the first song this year that strikes you, but i'm unsure whether I like being struck by it or not. It's powerful, over the top, incredibly exaggerated. It should be something I find myself jumping straight on board with, but i'm hesitant. Listening to the song is like having a giant pizza whacked in your face by Vito Corleone, who happens to be wearing a plumbers outfit. It's a massive cliche, but it's making an impression on me. You can't help but take notice of it, whether you like it or not. In that light, I think it's nice to finally have an entry that stands out. It will probably do very well at the contest and swarms of maturer ladies (and gentlemen) will be swooning as soon as these young men hit the stage... I don't know. It's pretty ok. I'll probably surrender to it's cheese eventually. Resisting will be futile, especially in such a dreadful year.

Even in my state of confusion, this is going to jump straight to my 2nd place of the year so far, as Melanie's song for Switzerland is fast losing any magic it may have had at one point.

wow, how Italian isn't this?!

But I love hit, three hot guys singing a powerful italian ballad that is totally al dente! Welcome back to the top 10 Italy, this could have actually have a shot of the really high places too. Bravissimo Italia! :D

Oh my, another overhyped italian entry

Not bad, but pretty boring and cheesy . I guess the juries will like it. It will strugle wih the televoting though

I'll give it 5 points

Ok, disappointed by the results. Of course, "Il Volo" was the most "obvious" material for Eurovision, but they shouldn't have won San Remo. As someone said earlier, "Grande Amore" is a good song for Eurovision (even though it sounds fake imo), but far from being the best of the lineup to win the Italian festival (which seemed until now not to have the same criteria). Nek, Annalisa, Malika, Irene and Chiara had quality songs that would have deserved that first place.

I expect them to do well (not to win, let's get serious) since the song is formatted for ESC: easy to listen, easy to like instantly. So I'm disappointed somehow I was hoping for a classic and classy song, a grower. On Tuesday, I surprised myself by enjoying "Grande Amore" but now the more I listen to it, the less I'm likely to praise it.

I must be missing something. Who cares if they're hot? It's a song contest.
