A week ago, my father heard the Israeli song for the first time, he hates songs of this kind, but to that he said "special" and that this is a good song. So much so that this song probably affects people.

I think Toy is the type of song that is huge among the ESC bubble but is not anything too special for most people. My friend gave it a listen because of the hype and was surprised because it sounded like nothing special, even described it as "random catchy pop song".

I don't agree with you. This song is not a regular Eurovision song at all. It has a lot of potential to be a big hit outside Eurovision. TBH it's the only Israeli song in the contest that ppl here actually listen to :/

Isn't Golden Boy a hit in Israel? I heard it even here in Turkey
