I'm really curious, because Doron Medalie and "voice looper" seem two different and very distant concepts, at least from what we've heard in the past from him. You don't compose a song to be performed with a voice looper like any other song, it's more complicated. This can be the biggest mess of the year or a real miracle.

The only thing I'm f***ing, is stupid
This year is the 20th anniversary of Dana International's victory and Israel won 19 years before that.

So why not? Kan the broadcaster may prepare for something amazing this year. They have stiff competition from other contenders though.

Not too happy that Israel completely ditched Hebrew since 2015 xshrug , before the Israeli broadcaster always had a rule that the entries sent to ESC would have to be atleast partly in Hebrew... I really miss this stunning language in ESC and Israel felt like one of the few last sell-outs... oh well maybe next year xshrug

I must say that I highly dislike the Israeli selection method for ESC and Netta wasn't my first pick either, but I am still intrigued about this entry and have an optimistic feeling about it... let's see...

They may include some parts of their song, which would be sung in Hebrew. Who knows after all?

Maybe, I only read that it was confirmed it will be in English and seeing Israel has sent English since 2015 I dunno...

Anyways, just saw her "Tik Tok / Gangnam Style" mash-up again and if they send something really fun, crazy, cool and uptempo and different with the same attitude, I'd say Israel might be the contender to look out for this year... but it has to be really catchy though... not just gimmicky

Unfortunately, I can't see any up-/mid-tempo entry beat :bg: or :ee: this year, even though Bulgaria has yet to release its entry. :(
