I don't think I can handle more Jedward.

oh god same. I hope our jury would kill them to stop them getting points (if they did it again).

Having looked at the hit it seems similar to my UK idea. Surely it's better than the crap Ireland tries now xqueenbitch

I liked the winning song from the Hit. Finbar was coming to the end of his career and he ended up getting a new record deal in the US out of the show.

Send whatever you like, just don't make another Celtic wannabe performance full of gold, PLEASE.

You didn't like Jedward?

Did you like "Lipstick" and "Waterline"?

What do you think about the fact "Lipstick" in 2011 was totally ignored by Eastern European countries in voting, while scored really good in Western and Northern European countries?

What do you prefer? "Lipstick" or "Waterline"? What number on your lists for 2011 and 2012 they were?

1) No I didn't like them a lot

2) I love "Lipstick" and it's my 2nd biggest guilty pleasure in Eurovision. But I don't like "Waterline"

3) Ireland belongs to the western block. It was obvious that if they had great entry they would support them. But I think that the eastern block having :az: to vote cause it was high in the odds so they ignore Ireland.

4) I clearly prefer "Lipstick". Lipstick was 6th in my ranking. "Waterline" was out of top 15.

What about you?

I prefer 'Waterline" performance was more interesting to me than the one for "Lipstick"... :)

But generally they didn't appeal that much to me, it's not about quality vocals and compositions..but I don't hate them..

I agree that at 2012 they had a better staging. But ok it's based on each person's personal taste... I think that it has more appeal to teenagers cause they listen a lot this kind of music

They should sing ballad if they want you to put 'em into your TOP 5 or TOP 3 hahaha   :D

But that would sound terrible I assume..they had a lot of help from backing vocals for "Lipstick" and "Waterline".. :D

Of course the goal of their life is to enter in my top 3, that's why they return, for me xqueenbitch

But my top 3 that year was no ballads (:by:/:se:/:sl:). Also I think their voices doesn't fit into a ballad. They are trash pop singers (without means that this is bad cause as I said this is what the teenagers listen). They had to be really strong performers and have a lot of charisma to performe this kind of song without back singers. They are not bad but neither excellent. I think it's good as it is

"Lipstick" was decent, "Waterline" was beyond terrible. Hopefully they won't be back.

Rumours that Shayne Ward may participate for us next year, and even more dubious rumours that he may team up with Samantha Mumba. I think this could be great, it'd be wonderful to have two former professionals fly our flag, but also to see a member of the Travelling community represent us at a time where anti-Traveller sentiment is quite high.

Shayne's a pure Manc, what on earth.

And oi, Samantha Mumba is pure flawlessness, her song that she performed on 'The Hit' was one of my favourites last year pmsl.
