To be honest, I doubt that your votings would have changed the winner. The first place is six points ahead of the second place and I would have needed a radical and scandalous voter like RainyWoods to change the leader. In fact, most of you voted rather balanced like "5-3-2-2" or "4-3-3-2" .. I like this

I dont wanna give a hint about the winning song, I just say that I'm not surprised about the result at all.

I so wanted "Give Up" to win. That song had something incredibly poignant about it. That might have just been my favourite entry of yours to date had it won.

Wow... I'm really dead after this results show
Following Icelands ESC tradition I got the last place again and this made it really exciting
There were so many songs that failed which were imo more likely to qualify than me so I didnt even reckon with reaching the final... This was a nice surprise
Yes, I could have predicted myself reaching the final since I got good feedback from you guys but then again I thought bad luck in draw would kill me and I also thought that due to the high quality of the SF I would end up on 11th or 12th place in many rankings and miss the points... Well, whatever, I'm very grateful. it will be hard to reach even a Top 20 place in the final cause I expect the final to be the best since maybe WV 45 so probably Low Roar will have hard times to do wel. I don't care to be honest I just wanna reach the final. Right now I'm pleased like a baby that got his warm milk

I'm shocked in a positive way by these 5 12 points I received
That's so amazing... I once get 7 12 points in WV 45 but in most finals I was happy when I got 1 or maybe 2 12 points... My song being Number 1 for five users is a nice feeling. I appreciate it and I hope I can keep my level up and send songs that you enjoy

8th place in general is so much more than I expected. I considered myself as an underdog in the final. I just hoped for a place in the top 20 but I thought finishing up in bottom 5 is realistic... I obviously underestimated the appeal of my song

One thing I noticed: In my NF for WV 46 (wow it feels like it's some years ago) things obviously went wrong. This was the Top 3:

1. Agent Fresco - Dark water 67
2. Ásgeir - Dýrð í dauðaþögn 58
3. Low Roar - Friends Make Garbage 56

Let's check the results. Agent Fresco won and became 21st in WV 46 (who knows if it even qualified if it wasn't PQ anyway)
Later in WV 49 I sent Ásgeir and became 19th.
In last WV I sent Low Roar and became 8th

What does that actually mean? Will I win the WV if I sent the last place which was "Sóley - Kill the Clown" ?
Fair enough, this NF was before people like RainyWoods, Ringdalen and Gaoithe joined the WV

One hint about my next entry... it will be a band with a female singer

This is pretty much a miracle Don't know if you realized but from 15 entries there was a single one (Dirty Paws) that was sung by a woman. All the others artist were male... I think it's time to represent Icelands woman power
