I thought Fjaðrir would easily win the semi 2 poll. I really hope Iceland picks it. I've been listening to it all day.

You don't like "I kvold'? Why? It's so quirky, I LOVE it, you dislike quirky entries?

I have to agree, but Haukur gets votes because of Dikta, Fjaðrir will most likely go to the finals if not even battle for the winning ticket, and I hope they get it :)

I don't hate it but it's far too twee for my tastes. I wouldn't have called it quirky. It's just a simple little guitar ballad with a soft vocal. It doesn't excite, move or charm me.

Cool x12s

It's a great song, my number 3 for :is: and if it would win it would already compete for the number 1 position of my final top. The song is guided and carried by that lovely piano play, which keeps finding it's way back into the song. At the same time the song is building up in strength and tempo with a great finish. Awesome song!

I so agree with you. It has me hooked and I am hoping that it will win the contest. ;)

I thought that he would be alone on stage, sitting by a piano, but looking at the pic, I think the writer of the song (Karl Olgeirsson) will be on the piano, the two girls on some sort of bongo drums and the other guy on drums.

I know one of the people in that photo that will be with him on stage, and she is a dancer/singer, so there might be backing vocals or dancers :)

OK, I agree with you, they must be part of the backing vocals  But when listening very closely, I think I hear a male vocalist, so possibly 2 backing vocalist (male and female) and then maybe a dancer....:p I'm guessing the young girl up front is the one you are referring to as a possible dancer?

Yep, the one looking into the camera :D, We'll see, I know that whatever happens on stage will decide the winner, there's no other way to choose a certain song :)

How about Augnablik? :(

I love Augnablik too, the best ballad of the bunch, and Stefanía is a fantastic singer. Even if I am hoping that either Haukur Heiðar or Sunday will win this, I would be happy if she won.:) Like Halldór said, it depends a lot on the stage performances and if she delivers, and I have no doubt that she will, she could very possibly be a strong contender. BUT Haukur's and Sunday's songs have a slight advantage IMO.;)

This will certainly be exciting :) And I think this will be the first year for a long time that the popularity factor will help a lot, which will be fun :)
