Apparently Maria did not eat all day yesterday and her blood sugar went down and that's why she fainted. She's all fine now though

I think this is an absolute no-hoper now...
I love this song, but I think the performance is just meh!
I hope this year its all about the camera work because I think most of the performances are just bland so I think the camera work will be used a lot in Vienna, well I hope, or its going to be a year of bad staging

I can't see it either, at least is going up at the press center, from 10th place in Semifinal 2 to 7th
I get it, that this song is not the cup of tea for many here, but I think the staging and her performance and voice is really good in this video. It's definitely a Frozen theme but as that, it's really good IMO

Pros:
- Decent song, I like the chorus. I gave it an 8.
- I like the backdrop.
Cons:
- She's mostly just standing there, moving her hips, moving her arms, swirling around a few times, taking a few steps forward and to the sides. It's really boring to look at. I want some kind of show. They should have ditched a few of the background singers and hired some dancers.
- Shaky vocals here and there (but I think it might sound better on TV).
- The dress. It looks twee and it doesn't "fit" with the backdrop (this is really bothering me for some reason).
Prediction:
I think it'll make it to the final where it'll finish in the bottom half.

You should know that it will look so much different on camera. Eurovision is for the TV-audiences more than the ones who are watching from the arena. It's more obvious in some numbers than others since the choreography is based mainly on reaching the audiences on the other side of the camera lense, so to speak. She has wonderful eyes and is so charming to look at and that is one of her strong points, and they are exploiting that to the fullest.
I tried to sneak-peak in some of those videos at the TV-Screens by the stage, from the rehearsal and what I saw was fantastic. If she will not have shaky vocals on Thursday due to nerves, I'm certain this will easily reach the finals. BUT, if the nerves takes over, Iceland will be in trouble.

thats what I said on the previous page, its all going to be the camera work that makes it, it is the same for a lot of songs this year

I remember Birgitta Haukdal said that María should not sing for the camera but rather sing for the audience and let the camera follow you. I think Birgitta is right about that, María is following the camera to much, she needs to let that camera follow her.
