I was gonna give this 1 point just because I'm not really bothered by the song, but it makes me feel nothing, I'm absolutely indifferent to this, so I gave a zero in the end. It'll probably qualify but I don't think this stands out at all.

I don't get all this hate against this song... If I remember correctly Maria was one of the favorites here in the thread prior to the final, so I'm a bit surprised about the reactions

About the song... it's not a masterpiece or something, but I enjoy the song, it's catchy and powerful.
From all Iceland songs since 2011 it's the second best song (behind 'Never forget')

And yes, the song is better in Icelandic but I'm not disappointed because I expect every year that the Icelandic song will be performed in English anyway. If a song is really good it can't be totally destroyed by language change.

I agree with you, but I actually think that Maria may have serious PROBLEMS reaching the high note as well...
Jade's final song in 2009 was a disaster vocally and she was 5th (because the whole song was great), so I don't think people look carefully at every detail with respect to the vocals (I can mention some of the WINNERS in the recent years such as Russia in 2008, Germany 2010 or Azerbaijan 2011, which leave much to be desired...).

Wow this girl is so beautiful!!! it's so easy to fall in love with her but unfortunately not easy to love this song - simply outdated typical song 8 pts.

Well, I'm maybe not in shock since I saw this coming, but Sunday was absolutely amazing live, was there.

I guess shocked isn't the right word, more just disappointed, Iceland always does this, we never vote for a song because of the quality, but because of who sings it.

This is really a sad thing! :(

The first time I heard this entry in studio version I gave it 10/10, I was mesmerized by it....then i saw the live performance, the outfit and all other stuff and i simply had to downgrade it to 6/10.. :(

But unfortunately it didn't stop here... then they translated into English and now when we add that ugly performance and outfit it's almost terrible.. xcry

3/10 :(

I only heard the studio version in Icelandic and it's among my top 3 so far - any chances it stays in Icelandic?

8 points so far.

Is there a reason why Maria is dressed in a child's fairy costume?:(

I absolutely love Sunday's song but as you can see from tonlist.is website, even Milljón augnablik (which I also loved) has more downloads than Fjaðrir, even though Milljón augnablik was the wildcard:?

You hardly hear it on the radio either....

Although there’s nothing really wrong with this song, I feel like I’ve heard it so many times before. I don’t even really know what to say about it, I just find it very average. Her style reminds me a lot of Emmelie de Forest, which actually make me dislike it even more. It’s good, and will probably get Iceland through to the final but it was not my favorite in the national final.
SUNDAY was exquisite, delicate and it was mesmerizing to watch. The ethereal voice in this moody electronic song was so captivating. xheart
A standout. One of my favorites so far.

Which is a shame, considering the quality in the song. It seems like we still need a few more years to appreciate these songs.

After listening to the song a few times, I find it at least ok (so 6 points in the poll) and I think Iceland will be able to qualify to the final with that song.

This is my fave so far this year. It's so damn catchy.

I will wait to leave points until more songs are chosen. But Iceland will be one of my faves.
