I can see us scoring high this year, but as you said, it's a grower, and with the amount of people that watch in the final are listening to these songs for the first time, it might not do as well there, but I hope we'll do well.

I think Iceland can make it through the top 10 and maybe in the top 3. That's a big feel good song, she reminds me Emmelie (yes maybe the outfits) it all depends on the performance itself. If she just sings and look at the camera it won't be enough. Iceland has to find something to catch the eyes of the viewers.
You refer about 2nd Semifinal, dont you?

haha, sorry no, in the final. That's an eurovision song who can easily works in the contest if we don't have a clear winner when we'll know all the songs. And don't underestimate the performance live who can change everything in 3min (remember Aram MP3 who did a not-so-good live)

I see what you mean. Do you think he could steel attention from her? I just saw a really cute picture of them together and I just thought it would be a good idea.
She is rather short, only 1,6 m and he is not tall

Not really. Friðrik isn't too famous outside Iceland, right? And for Eurovision followers, it will remain as an anecdote.

Judging from his reaction to qualifying in the semis I don't know if he'll pull that of. But I think he'll have to take bit of the spotlight to sell the song, seeing María's interviews in Söngvakeppnin, she needs interview lessons, but hopefully that will change.
