Not the worst thing I'd ever heard, and actually very good for what it is, but this sort of thing and I in general don't get along. Too angsty. Too whiny. 4 points.

Dear All,

please, let me introduce you my newest video, which is a voting simulation about the grand final of A Dal 2018. We all know how it works for real, but I created a much more exciting, a much more truthful version of the voting, involving regional juries, 4 from the diaspora, and 6 from inland + the televoting, just like in the ESC or Mello. If you're interested, check this video + you can hear me commentating in Hungarian, if you'd like to hear someone speaking this incredible language :D haha

Dodiih reminded me, that this page is still alive. Shame on me, I haven't visited escYOUnited since I signed up. Anyways, I even had to change my password, because it expired more than 1000 days ago LOL.

Most of my subscribers think I'm Polish, or Czech, or both at the same time, but actually I'm not, and I don't have any connection with the beautiful region of Silesia. Misleading name, I know ;)

Upgrading to a 10. Still would of preferred Meggyfa but after some time, I've realised that this is yet another Hungarian song I like :)

I'd be lying if I said I'd listen to this over and over again and it's the kind of music I listen to in my free time, but still, what a fantastic choice Hungary has made??? I can't get over this. The support they have, despite the conflicting genre is incredible as well and proves how special this entry is. It stands out so well but in a good way, it's refreshing, the singer is fantastic and as people have pointed out, for a heavy rock song it's really melodic. I'm so glad they're breaking the mould this way. Just like when last year they had a successful interesting quality entry that's really authentic to the artist, they're doing it again and I'm so happy about that. It'll be a true stand-out moment at Eurovision if their performance will be anything like the national final.

This is brilliant. No one will be indifferent. The topic is quite sad, but the song still possesses an electric atmosphere. What a rollercoaster!

'tis random, but thanks to the lyrics of this I figured out that the Kati Wolf's Christmas song's title means "Christmas Dream":

That makes me want to learn Hungarian this year. Anyone local from this forum would like to volunteer as my tutor? :D

If we can't even pronounce the title at first glance, forget winning ESC.
This will definitely stay in the semi.

well indeed, Eurovision is a first impression contest, usually, and the amount of people who at first couldn't really get behind it but now are loving it in here is... well, existant. Same happened with :lt: Rain of Revolution but since it ain't no game changer in Eurovision genres and all that, I think it got a pretty expected result because every other person's who hasn't heard it until now first impression probably was negative and they would only end up loving it while rewatching Eurovision or several of its performances more and more times.

But what do you know. AWS were a pretty alright looking act amidst Tamás and Dánielfy who were THE bigger competitors until they performed in the national final... then AWS replaced Tamás as the bigger favourite to go to Eurovision :D Hoping for some similar reaction from others in tumblr while watching Eurovision 2018 for the first time.

If it makes it to the final, the Finnish televoters will put it top-3. Cousin language and metal will melt the heart of the average Finn. For me personally this will be an underdog I'll root for, but won't be too upset if it fails to qualify.

So hard to predict juries though. If one member hates it and places it at the bottom (very likely to happen in many juries), that's probably enough to leave it without points from that specific jury. The main reason I want this in the final is to see just how much the juries would screw it over.

It's nice to have this genre in Eurovision and I think the song is okay but it's no favorite of mine. I give it 6 points.

Hungary is heading for a Slovakia 2012-type of result. What a shameful song, really.

Then again, the final of the NF was all males only so you'd be spreading negativity towards Hungary this year anyway...

But hey, this at least had an energetic performance. Slovakia 2012 had Max walk around the stage and walk up to random guys and generally looking like a mess, plus he was kinda out of tune turing the chorus... so Slovakia 2012 resultswise it kind of ain't.
