Speaking of the language, I am not a fan of translating the song into English, but this one definitely needs English.

AWS said in an interview with Wiwibloggs the other day that they wouldn't want to translate their song into English for Eurovision, as they think it'd lose something in the process. So unless they change their minds, I'm pretty sure it's staying in Hungarian

That is good I think, I don't think it would matter much to the average viewer who isn't that much into this music genre anyway, they will hate it anyway. And to those who like it, I think only a few would mind a lot that it is in hungarian. I feel so much power in this song, even if I don't understand a word, I can still feel the pain and anxiety that the song brings. It is enough to me to understand that the title means "Farewell Summer" basically and it gives me an idea of what it is about. I wouldn't be surprised if this will do very well in the televote, even top 4-5 in the semi and top 10 again in the final. It is a wonderful song, that gives me such energy. Love it!! xyaay

Re: HUNGARY 2018

Without being butthurt I give 3 Points. I think the Qualifications-Series will end.

I give 5 Points because 3 is a bit too subjective and this Songs has Somehow originality. Also just noticed that I gave Ukraine 4 and Hungary is def. better.

It's still ok, this is already the best song chosen so far for me.

I'm a son of rock, but when it comes to metal, it's quite difficult to judge.

For now, I'm giving it a shot because of both the language and the genre. Otherwise, I don't really like that screaming part in the end. I know it's typical of many songs from this genre, but still..

THE GOOD:
-This song rocks! (Which this type of song is supposed to do.)
-For the genre that it is, the song is on point with the instrumentals and the vocals.
-It charts new territory for Eurovision, which is always a good thing.

THE BAD:
-In some parts towards the end, it got into the "screamo" vocals a bit too much for my liking.

THE VERDICT:
Will this song win? Probably not. It might not even get to the Final. However, it is a good introduction of the genre of post-hardcore rock music for the Eurovision audience. This is the music of Hawthorne Heights, Chiodos, Taking Back Sunday, The Red Jumpsuit Apparatus, Armor for Sleep, etc. For it being what it is, the song is done well. 10 points

In some weird way I really like this. Normally not so much my type of music, but for the moment I really enjoy it.

Re: HUNGARY 2018

Except from AWS, the final perfectly reflects A Dal 2018, boring and flavorless. And again A Dal is normally one of my favourite national selection together with Eesti Laul and Söngvakeppnin. But I believe that between this blandness, AWS will be victorious. I'm already calling it!

Called it! Hell yeah :hu:, you definately made the right choice by bringing something new to the table which is also qualitatively good! This will definitely stand out enough to make it to the final. From there on it is merely speculation what their end result could be. I hope they can shoot for top 10.

Now I have to leave yall for the Latvian forum, where I will express my strong displeasure for not choosing Esamiba ;)
