Re: GREECE 2015

The only one that really worths is Jazz & Syrtaki. If they choose this, we can hope for a decent result at least. The else is just crap

+1 !

1) "One last breath" - a decent ballad, but we already have enough ballads. (5/10)
2) "Sunshine" - this one is "Only teardrops" 2: the video presentation, Shaya's looks, and some parts of the song (flute). (3/10)
3) "Ela" - a very bad and tasteless attempt at blending dance with an embarrassing rip-off from a well-known Greek piece of music; sounds like done by force. Oh, and the silly inclusion of only one Greek word "Eeeeela" doesn't make sense at all (it's just pathetic). It should be at least one full sentence, not just one word. (0/10)
4) "Crash and burn" - a very common dance song. This is a great disappointment considering how many amazing songs C Real have. If they had entered the Greek national final with "Xilia mistika" (their latest Greek single), they would have been the strongest contender. (4/10)
5) "Jazz & Sirtaki" - jazz and some Greek flavour mixed in a very decent way, and the lyrics entirely in her native language - brave girl! (10/10)

Re: GREECE 2015

The EUROSONG '15 Final will be held on ''Enastron'' club-arena, in Wednesday 4th of March at 19:00 ECT. (20:00 Greek time)

Special Guest is Helena Paparizou, 10 years after her ESC victory with ''My number one''. The second special guest is Giannis Karaggianis, who represent Cyprus 2015.
Are you sure?
I think 9 local time.
Apart from Helena Paparizou,
there will also be:
John Karagiannis (Cyprus 2015)
ONE (Cyprus 2002)
Thanos Kalliris (Greece 1987)
Freaky Fortune (Greece 2014)
Loukas (Greece 2011)

and the boyband Boys & Noise xpuke

Re: GREECE 2015

I quite like:

Shaya Hunsen - Sunshine.
Can't help it, I just love these ethno-pop songs and they are playing a clarinet, my instrument :D
However, it's true that it starts strong but the song kinda drops towards the end. I don't like that instrumental bridge.

Thomai Apergi & Legend - Jazz & Sirtaki
Authentic mix of two different genres, I love it. Much better than Thomai's previous song. Probably the one who would stand out.

"Crash and burn" has some potential, but it would need a lot of changes because it doesn't work like it is now. Not too convinced though, especially because of the singer.
"One last breath" is an old fashioned ballad that adds nothing extra.

"Ela" could easily be the worst song in the entire NF season. I couldn't even stay for the full three minutes. It's too much crap in a very small portion of time.

Can't stop listening Maria Elena's entry! It's wonderful, if she can pull it off live and wins, Greece will be my new number one..I don't mind her English accent, I actually like it..

Jass and Sirtaki is a great entry! The singer looks a little bit like Terry Hatcher!

Re: GREECE 2015

This is simply a no brainer......Shaya is the obvious winner. Her song sticks out like a welcome slice of um...."sunshine" amidst all the ballads that have been picked so far.

Re: GREECE 2015

Thomai gives me the impression of trying too hard, even in the interview posted above, she tries so hard to be sweet, she isn't natural at all, maybe that's why some don't like her.

I find her performance style hilarious, as in it is a very OTT "jazz hands" kind of thing with really funny facial expressions to match:D

Re: GREECE 2015

I think its not about jazz, its just about her attempt to enrich her song.
For me it s really difficult to decide for what i want, cause i think that all songs have some nice parts but also some bad parts.
1. One last breath I like her voice, the song is really nice in general, but there are problems in her accent, the song is also a bit of Rise like a Phoenix replica and i think it cant really stand out. (7/10). 2.Sunshine. Catchy beggining, nice instruments and a photogenic and talented singer. But the song loses its power halfway and seems a bit boring. (6.5/10)
3. Crash and burn. Neither bad, nor good. If it was for radio, it would be okay, but nothing special and also the peaking bouzouki part is a big mistake. (6/10)
4. Jazz and Surtaki. Catchy beggining, i like both the first jazz and bouzouki part, but the ending is a bit ridiculous (this fast forward can be disastrous for the vocals) and not so fun. Also, horrible lyrics. (5/10)
5. Ela. Really nice beggining, but then a disaster. The first minute is really good, the second boring, and the third super ridiculous. If it was without the bouzouki part, it could be in my #2. (3.5/10)
Although i believe the ballad is the better one, i think the song that should be chosen is Sunshine or Jazz and Syrtaki.

I love Shaya. This will be my favourite so far if it wins!
Eurovision needs it this year, a breath of fresh air and sunshine :D

Re: GREECE 2015

Thomai will take this hands down.
She supports a specific music style (at 2/3 of her song), that greeks love.
It was invented by a composer "Chiotis" at the decade of 60s.
You can listen some songs here.
